Episode 7:

It is now the next morning and Yoo Ji took a power nap and went back to helping people around, she knew that within a few hours the reporters will come filing in. Gwang Nam and Cheol Ho went to aid Shi Jin and Dae Young into rescuing the workers that are still stuck inside.

She was around the center of the emergency care (if that's what you call it) when Ki Bum came in and gave them the walkie talkies curtsey Doctor Daniel.

She looked over to where the four men were and she noticed the civilian that looked very worked up. Gwang Nam pushed him back and told him to leave the area, but once Gwang Nam turned around to help again, the man returned.

Yoo Ji crept closer to see what the commotion was about. It seems that the civilian was the chief manager of the plantation, Manager Jin. Yoo Ji cocked an eyebrow, he seemed suspicious since she's been here, and some rumors have circled around him that got to Yoo Ji that was not very comforting. She made her way over and overheard what he said to the team.

" Trusting in airbags that might explode anytime, you're telling me that you're going to crawl in underneath that concrete. "

" Other than crazy people who are trying to kill themselves, who would do that? "

" We're doing it. " Captain Yoo responded. Yoo Ji halted, her eyes wide open.

"You what?" she demanded, Gwang Nam looked at her with a look that said don't fight this.

They went in without giving her another thought, she couldn't believe the risk they were taking. She was brought out of her daze with the manager grasped onto her arm.

"You seem like a sensible person, tell them they need to start with my office there are important documents there and that I need to get the-" he was caught by Yoo Ji, who looked at him with disbelief

"Documents can wait, people can't, your employee's lives are in danger and all you care about are the pieces of paper? Either aid with the rescue or get out of their way!" Yoo Ji snapped at the pathetic manager. Gwang Nam was supporting one of the rocks that are lifted by the airbags, he heard her tell the manager to piss off. And at that moment he was engulfed with pride but he didn't have time to tell her.

"Once the workers start coming out, be on standby to check for injuries and to contact the doctors for immediate medical attention," she told Cheol Ho who was standing with another soldier, he nodded. Once she had that settled she noticed a white van pull up, it's starting the influx of reporters.

"I have to go deal with the reporter but radio me if you need anything" she tapped the other soldier and he nodded confirming he heard her.

" Hi. I'm Martin from the World Times. " The British reporter introduced himself to the closest person. That was Ki Bum, "Is this the casualty count?" he asked the awestruck man again. Yoo Ji immediately went to direct his attention away from the young man.

"Hello, I am Yoo Ji from the Newsen news and I can help you" she interrupted.

"Ah, can you fill me in on the situation?" he started firing the questions at an abnormal speed. She was having a hard time answering.

Sang Hyun came running in, he quickly grabbed a water bottle and started chugging it, the British news reporter lost interest in Yoo Ji and focused on Sang Hyun who was wearing the medical vest.

"You're a doctor? Can you tell me what the casualties are?" he once again started his rapid questioning.

" I'm not good at English, so I beg your pardon ." he excused, his walkie talkie came to life, someone needed their help back at the base.

" This is Doctor Song; I'll be there, " he responded before looking at the white van and getting inside.

" Hey, I will do the interview if you take me to the hospital, " he promised. Yoo Ji scoffed that that was so unprofessional of the reporter, he couldn't even get through one source before he moved onto the next but then anyway he's being dealt with.

Yoo Ji heard that Mo Yeon and Myung Ju needed an AB blood and she was one so she hurried over there, but it seems that Ki Bum already radioed that he was the blood type and was getting tested.

Yoo Ji went back to the main site and found that Ye Hwa made all the reporters give blood transfusions, it made Yoo Ji chuckle. As she neared them she heard Ye Hwa curse at them in Korean.

"I didn't know you could do that," she told Ye Hwa who looked up.

"I promised them an interview with the heads of this project and rescue team but all they want is to interview Daniel." she rolled her eyes.

This went on for a few more hours before the new troops came through and they were able to switch, Yoo Ji was sent back to the base to report to her own boss, but she wasn't sure the cell tower was fixed or not.

She tried to stay clear of the Medi-cube as she knew it was hella busy and she didn't want to crowd the place but she saw that rude manager go in, and she didn't have a good feeling about it. When she did go inside to see what he'd done, it seems that nurse Ha had taken care of it and he was ignored.

"Ya! Listen to me!" he yelled.

"No one will if you keep up the attitude" Yoo Ji replied standing to the side.

"What? Did you just talk informally to me?" he sputtered.

"Yes, I did, this isn't Korea, formalities aren't required here, especially when you have no consideration of others." she snapped. She told him to get out. And she followed him just in case he didn't follow her order.

Once that was taken care of. She noticed that Val's friend was here, standing with both leaders. They were discussing the food shortage and what they must do.

"You're here!" Yoo Ji exclaimed.

"You called her?" Dae Young asked. It was someone from the bar, they had brought in boxes of food.

"I did but she seemed to already have a plan before I even said anything" she smiled, her eyes wondering behind the two men. She didn't know if Gwang Nam stayed behind or if he came back, and she was too embarrassed to ask.

"He's back on base but I don't know where exactly" Shi Jin answered her unspoken question. She nodded in thanks and hurried off. She ended up looking for him in the common room in case he was there, and she did find him eventually, he had cleaned up and was heading to his bunker.

"Are you ok? Did something happen?" he immediately asked, scanning her in case she's hurt. Yoo Ji didn't care anymore about her issues, she will deal with them later when she has to, for now, he doesn't need to know, she ran at him at full speed and hugged him.

"I am so glad you're ok" she mumbled against his chest. He chuckled and he rubbed her back.
