Ali

Two days later, we were all back in London, and getting back to work. The boys were putting the finishing touches on the tour, and were in the middle of rehearsals. Elizabeth and I were beginning to get involved in charities, back home, one for our veterans, and worldwide, we were supporting an organization that built libraries and helped to educate women in developing countries.

People had begun to take interest in us, oddly enough. Elizabeth and I were no longer helping at the studio, but taking part in these organizations, and going to school. The boys were superstars. We had been branded as power couples for reasons I will never understand.

So, soon after Simon had informed us of our status, it was no surprise when he called us up saying Vogue wanted an interview.

And today, I picked up my very own copy of Vogue with my own picture on the cover.

On the cover, Elizabeth and I were both in big ballgowns full of tulle, and Harry and Niall wore tuxedos. Mine was blue and hers was pink. Our hair was curled to perfection.

We had the photoshoot for the cover on a brick street in London. The cover was quite posed, Elizabeth and I in the middle with the boys on either side with their arm around our waist, and Elizabeth and I had our arms around each other as well. However, we all had quite huge smiles on our faces.

I opened to the article, and the photos inside were a bit more playful. We had both changed into shorter versions of our dresses from the cover that hit above our knees. Confetti was flying all around and we were all laughing. That was the real us.

Then I got to the article. They had sat us down and asked us a lot of questions., and to be honest, I kind of enjoyed it.

Uptown Girls: One Direction Couples on Fame, Fun, and Romance

Just this past June, London got its own personal American invasion by two eighteen-year-old girls from Cleveland, Ohio. They came to London, working in a local ballet studio and have just recently started their univeristy classes, not to mention the several charity organizations they have become involved in.

Oh, and did we mention? These two stunning girls have caught the attention of One Direction members Harry Styles and Niall Horan, both 22.

Elizabeth Maurey and Alison Evans, recent high school graduates, have taken London by storm. As I sit and talk with them, they seem to have been having a blast here in London, and are also completely lovestruck by their new boyfriends!

I sat down with all four of these young adults to get to the bottom of all of it, the seriousnss and the smiles. Inbetween giggles from these young, bubbly girls and their silly boyfriends, we were able to get some questions answered.

Question: How have you been enjoying London?

Elizabeth Maurey: It's absolutely incredible! I love the fashion and the people and all the buildings; it's so different from America.

Ali Evans: Same, it's great to get away from Cleveland for a while and experience new things. Our time here has been unforgettable.

Q: You're both so young! Has it been difficult adjusting to everything?

AE: It's been tough, definitely, especially because we're both so close with our families, but we've met some pretty amazing people here who have made us feel right at home. It can be hard trying to figure out a new place and new people when you're still trying to figure yourself out, but we wouldn't trade this experience for the world.
