"Taehyung is in love with Jungkook, and he doesn't care that everyone knows, while Jungkook seems like he doesn't care since he has a reputation to keep.
But things go downhill when, one time, someone asks Jungkook what he thinks of Taehyung. Unfortunately, Taehyung hears it all, and all the façade they have been keeping finally crumbles."
WARNINGS: There will be depictions of homophobia and bullying, but overall, this will be a fluffy, almost angsty-free chapter.
This is a work of fiction where I use the boys' faces and names as a shell for fictional characters. It's not in any way based on their real personas/identities.

It all started when Jungkook arrived at the new school. He had his headphones on and his eyes barely looked up. Not that he was shy or anything like that. He just wanted to avoid having to look into anyone's eyes so that they would think that they could come to him.
But then there was Taehyung. Maybe he was just clueless, like Jungkook thought that day.
"Good morning. Good morning. Have a nice day. Oh, the day is so beautiful, right? You look amazing! Have a good morni- oh! I don't know you." Taehyung kept throwing his happy morning beckons until he came across the new kid.
Jungkook stopped in his tracks when he saw a figure standing right in front of his path. He looked up from his feet, where the person had DIY Converse with flowers, butterflies, worms, and a glittered pink transparent ribbon replacing the shoelaces.
He was dressed in oversized jeans and a colorful striped top with long sleeves, tucked inside his pants, and a thin black belt tied around his tiny waist, so none would fall loose.
His hair was messy and wavy, of a dirty blond falling over his eyes, which had sparkles under his eyelids and a tiny rainbow painted on his cheek.
He also carried a DIY Galaxy backpack tucked on his back with both handles on his shoulders. Nobody carried their bags on both shoulders!
The boy was, without a doubt, the complete opposite of Jungkook, who dressed all in black with no effort in his clothes. Just cargo pants, an oversized long-sleeved top, combat boots, and a black backpack with one of the straps falling off one of his shoulders.
We can guess that Jungkook was the most like everyone else. Not that the boy in front of him was like everyone else. Well, in their own ways, they were both very similar, even if contrasting. Jungkook tried his best to hide behind his dark outfit and the other boy tried to stand out.
"Hello!" The boy beamed over the loud sound coming out of Jungkook's headphones.
He had a big, boxy smile on his lips, but Jungkook only frowned and looked down again, overpassing the boy. However, it was not so long after that Jungkook felt a tap on his shoulder. It was to no surprise that when he turned his head back, he saw the boy, still smiling, completely unbothered by the new kid having ignored him.
