Sighing, White would stroll through the ever bustling Nimbasa city. The moon, acting as a compass, shine above her. Those imposing streets, the sparkling lights and the beautiful sights of the city would overpower her senses.
At the current moment in time, she was sitting alone on a bench in the middle of the ever famous amusement park. Her eyes would focus on the couples that seemed to only reinforce her own loneliness. They would be doing the cliche couple things: holding hands, making out, chatting about pointless problems.
Something that she had yet to experience once more.
See, that emotion was not foreign to her system. Love may have been rare but she knew that she had felt it: and had it stung. Like a gaping wound that she wasn't able to stitch up, that love had left her unable to do anything else but think about it. Especially when the one who had called for her attention had disappeared two years previous.
She couldn't forget him, so she set off to look for him.
N, the one who managed gain her trust. The one who pierced into her heart. The one who she loved.
Even if her friends would try to cheer her up with pointless memories of the past, she felt empty. Lonely. Despite even being a celebrity in Unova for her bravery, she was still unable to feel accomplished.
Hopefully, tonight would change that issue.
The reason why White was in Nimbasa city, on the wooden bench that gave birth to a multitude of prickly splinters, was because of a simple letter.
Her brown hair was puffed up, the weather being her friend and humidity would not peer it's head around the corner. She had borrowed a petite sky-blue summers dress from Bianca which would match her eyes. Her slip-on shoes would also be borrowed from the much more feminine woman, who chided White for her masculine wardrobe. Apparently converse aren't "going out shoes."
The events surrounding this occurrence were suspicious. She was given the - now crumpled - up letter by a Ninjask. The Pokemon had quickly zoomed off without a chance of allowing her to read the thing. Bianca had then appeared, snatching the letter from her grasp and reading it instantly. White had only returned from the Kanto region that day, so how the Pokemon knew where she was had stumped her even more.
Bianca had then dragged her into her home, and the few moments after that were a daze. Hazy memories of Bianca trying to explain the best advice for a date without allowing too much to overload White's mind.
All White would vividly recall was Bianca telling her to play her cards right and she would reap the rewards. She didn't know that Bianca was a gambler, but truly anything was possible with her.
Yet, there she was, all alone in Nimbasa city. Whatever the letter had said about requesting a date would be a lie and within a few tearful seconds; it was torn up. She had been stood up.
Allowing the letter to dance on the wind: White would contemplate disappearing and using her Pokemon to fly away, and yet she was attracted to the decrepit state that the Ferris wheel was in.
Walking over to the newly placed sign, she would read the warning that had condemned the ride to oblivion. It was going to be torn down. A sudden pang of guilt hit her heart.
