Chapter 5 - The First Night

ALISHA

After seven years, I finally found my mate and I couldn't be happier. I couldn't stop smiling when I stared at Nathan and he was staring back, not saying anything.

"Alisha?" Nathan's lips didn't move, and he was looking at me but at my right. I turn and see Nina. "Oh hey Nina."

"Do you know this guy?" She points at Nathan and I could smell the alcohol from her mouth. I look back at Nathan with stunned expression because I don't know what to tell her accidentally mention our real identities. He understood my expression and said, "I know of her. I'm friends with her future brother-in-law."

Oh Liam? Nice save. Wait, how does he know that he's my brother-in-law?

"Oh ok. Alisha, I'm going to crash in my room. See you at work?"

"Yeah sure. Good night."

"Good night." She says with a little slur and walks away, wobbling a little here and there. "Sorry about her."

"Its alright."

"How do you know that I have a brother-in-law?" I ask him. "I didn't. I kind of just made it up. You actually have a brother-in-law?"

"Yeah, his name is Liam."

"Liam Mummah?"

"So you do know him."

"Now I do. He's one of my best friends and his pack and my pack are allies," He explains to me. "I see." Silence stretched between us. I honestly don't know where to start. I had planned out in my head of what I would do when I meet my mate. He would suggest that we get out of here, get into a room and just get on with it, if you know what I mean. But I created that fantasy years ago because that's exactly what happened between my brother and his mate, Lisa. And now, I don't want to go too fast because I'm just meeting him for the first time.

"Do you wanna.....get out of here?" I immediately look up at him when he asks me that. Is he considering of fulfilling my fantasy? "Um...I didn't know if you wanted to....you know." I trail off as I didn't want to complete that sentence.

"I don't mind going there. In fact, I did book a room in the hotel and I wouldn't be too thrilled to sleep on a king-size bed alone. I would like some company." I feel him trail his fingers down my arm and the tingling sensation came back, but it was more alive and better.

"I don't mind giving you some company." He smirks at me, takes my right hand in his and we walk away from the crowd and some people were pushing me as they were dancing, so Nathan held a protective arm around me, and it just felt so right.

We escape from the crowd and made into the lobby and walked over to the elevator. Nathan pressed the button, the doors opened, both of us walked inside, he pressed on the button that read '4' and the doors closed. As the elevator was going up, I was trying very hard to keep my hands to myself as I wanted to feel him so badly, but he still had his arm around me.

All of a sudden, I get slammed up against the wall and Nathan is hovering over me. "That's it. I can't take it anymore." His lips crash against mine as he pins against the wall in the elevator and I lose my grip on my phone, but I ignore it. I wrap my arms around his neck, wanting more from him and he understood my body language and gave me what I asked for.

He removes his mouth from mine, and I whimper due to him leaving my mouth alone. And then the elevator dinged, and we separated from each other, straighten our clothes and the doors opened. Nathan walked me to his room, unlocked the door, opened it and walked inside to the suite.

"Welcome to my suite." I look around and the suite was pretty big. The kitchen was close to the room door, then when I walked further in, there was a small living room and a queen size bed and next to the queen size bed was a sink with mirror and another room, there was shower and toilet.
