"It's over" he said.
It was hard to hear him over the crying baby boy and the doctors.
"What?" I ask.
"I want a divorce." He devastated me by saying. "I don't love you and now finally I can get out of this marriage."
I cry as I cradle my new born twins. Where is this coming coming from?!?
"Adam please I have just given birth to your children!" I pleaded.
"Oh come on! You know the arrangement your mother and father made!! You marry me and have a son and then I get my divorce. Well now you have the twins and I get my divorce!" He shouted at me.
"Wh...what are you saying? Y...you w...wanted a son not me? Why are you divorcing me, what are you talking about bringing my parents into this conversation." I had tears running down my face, I was devastated. This was the man I loved, my husband, the father of my children.
He looked shocked. "You didn't know" he whispered whilst backing out of the door.He left the divorce papers.

I put my babies down in their hospital cribs and look at beautiful baby girl and boy. I loved them with everything I had.
How could I be so wrong about Adam? He was always so distant but I always thought: that just my husband. He never loved me. Such an idiot!
I picked up the pen and the papers from the side table.
I signed. It is over.
