Now that we are getting into it, I want to say we will be starting in season 2, episode 5. Also, I will be portraying characters similar to the TV show, not real life.
Mother and I arrive at the studio 30 minutes early, so we can talk to the producers before filming. They usher us into studio B and say they will call us to enter during pyramid. I start stretching with the assistance of my mother. I sit stretching for almost an hour and a half before hearing someone scream, "If you don't want her on your competition team, we will find someone who does." The scream is loud and shakes the mirrors on the wall even though the screams came from somewhere else.
As soon as the screaming ends, the producers are back telling us to enter studio A, I'm nervous because it doesn't sound like it will be a warm welcome. The Producers push us through the door, causing me to stumble on the edge of the Marley, I don't fall, but I hear small chuckles coming from in front of me. I look up to see a line of girls, including Kendall looking at her jacket proudly, across from a teacher. The moms stand before me, turning their heads to look at me, but positioned towards their kids. The teacher, Abby, gestures me over, so I walk away from Mother to stand in front of her. She puts her hands on my shoulders and turns me, so I am facing the girls. "Everyone this is Marielle and her mom Khloé," Abby starts nodding at my mother before continuing, "She will be joining us on the team, but she will be on probation till she proves herself."
This is insulting she gives Kendall a jacket and kicks out Leslie, then just waltzes in a new dancer it is a blatant insult to Kendall. And she can't even walk right.- JILL
I'm nervous for my kids because Abby brings in a new dancer whose name also starts with an M - MELISSA
"Go join the girls," Abby says, slightly pushing me away. Standing by the girls, I notice I am only slightly taller than the smallest and youngest-looking girl, being quite short for my age. Abby smiles, clearly excited about what she is about to say, "Now Marielle you are going to have a fun sassy jazz solo called Ayo." I smile, excited to perform a style I don't normally do.
I love doing jazz even though I rarely perform it, I find it fun and challenging. - MARIELLE
Abby continues, less excited, "Brooke, you have this solo that you must win." From where I was standing, I could barely see the oldest girl, but I could tell she looked bored with the whole idea.
Im nervous about the solo because there is a new girl who will take a lot of Abby's time and I need to do well. - BROOKE
"Mackenzie, you have a solo," Abby says bluntly before moving on to the group dance. "The group number high energy, everybody joins us, everybody on their feet, and everyone dancing. Though Marielle and Mackenzie will not be performing with us." I'm relieved to not have to do a group dance my first week as I am confident about my skill for solos, but I have never done a group dance.
I'm annoyed that Kendall didn't get a solo this week considering she is now on the team, but I feel better knowing the new girl isn't in the group dance. - JILL
~*~LATER IN THE MOM JAIL~*~
As the moms walk up the stairs, the new mother, Khloé, keeps her nose up high. She is noticeably disgusted by the tight hallways and dirty glass of the upstairs viewing room. After all the other moms sit, she sneers before sitting at the very edge of the bleacher seat. Melissa scoffs at the blatant disgust as she feels pride in the studio, she devoted time and money too.
Holly being the closest to Khloé, physically, desires to welcome her, "Hi, I'm Holly, my daughter is Nia over there." She states, pointing out Nia before offering her hand for a handshake. The new mom scans holly's appearance slowly, noting her polished professional attire before grabbing her hand in a handshake. Holly, feeling accomplished for welcoming the new mom, continues by naming and gesturing to the other moms who had sat silently, clearly waiting to pounce on the newest conflict.
