The next day has arrived.
The day has met with another such bright day. But rays of light did not shine through the closed curtains of Himawari's room. But it was enough to glow the curtains externally. The room itself, however, is still shrouded in slight darkness. All the while, the occupants inside are still asleep.
The wall clock shows that the time is nearly at 7 o'clock. The supposed time that both Himawari and Sakurako should be awake. But considering that this is the weekend, they don't have to worry about school. Every weekend is vacation, Saturday, and Sunday. Usually, on Saturday, there are extracurricular at school. But Himawari and Sakurako don't have extracurricular unless they are needed at school.
They didn't even bother to have an alarm clock set. Himawari dislikes alarm clocks and doesn't have one. She preferred to wake up naturally than by surprise. But in case that Himawari doesn't wake up, her little sister will wake her up. Or at least, anyone else who's inside the house.
Any sound is unheard of from outside. But a moaning of the waking up Kaede does. The little girl opened her mouth wide, and she groaned softly. She then stretches her arms in the air with a cute groan. She then gently rubs her half-sleepy eyes with her left hand. She then opens up her blanket and folds it into a square.
After putting it at the end of her bunk bed and tidying up her pillow, Kaede then looked over to Sakurako on the futon and her elder sister underneath her. Sakurako is still sleeping, of course, with a bubbling snot coming in and out from her nose. Then her sister, Himawari, is sleeping on her back and speck of saliva dripping on the edge of her mouth. It looks like both of them had had a lovely sleep.
Kaede climbs down, using the ladder next to her bunk bed and walks over to the sleeping Himawari. She climbs over Hima's bunk bed so she could shake her awake. Kaede holds her shoulder and shakes it in front and back. Himawari only groaned as she's still asleep.
"Hima-chan," Kaede gently said. "Wake up."
"Hnggh," Himawari only responds as she struggled to wake up.
"Onee-chan, wake up!" Kaede continues to shake her. "Onee-chan, it's already morning."
"Hnmmmm...?" Himawari slowly opens her eyes and looks up to Kaede. "I'm up, I'm up."
Himawari lifts her back off her bed and gently rubs her eyes. She then pats Kaede on her head with a smile.
"Thanks for waking me up, Kaede," Himawari complimented with a smile.
"Hehehe," Kaede giggled by the compliment.
Himawari then puts her hand onto the bed. "Is Sakurako up yet?"
"No, she's not," Kaede replied with a shook, then looked at the sleeping Sakurako. "I woke you up first."
Himawari sighed with her eyes closed. "At least it's school holidays for the weekend."
"Do you want me to wake her up?" Kaede asked with a raised brow.
"No, let me wake her up," Himawari replied as she sits at the edge of the bed. "Why don't you go ahead and take a bath?"
"Yay!" Kaede then hops off the bed bunk and walks out of the room.
Himawari stands up from her bed and begins to walk over to the sleeping Sakurako. Sakurako looked pretty happy in her sleep; her hands can be seen lie on the sides of her pillow. Himawari then sits next to her and puts a hand on her shoulder. Himawari then began to shake her gently.
"Wake up, Sakurako," Himawari replied as her eyes looked up the clock. "It's already at seven."
Sakurako only mumbled in response. Gibberish mumbling as her head fell to her right.
