During 1607 King Hoseok of Gwanju the undefeated warrior is married to Queen Ri Dae but what happens after he falls in love with a court dancer Junghwa.
"Mother Im leaving " Hoseok exclaimed " but where are you going" The queen asked " I'm going to check our soldiers and tents on the border of Silla" Hoseok with Chanyeol and some soilders and a minister were moving out of the palace gate "wait " Ridae screamed she ran towards Hoseok who was on his horse " please take care of your self make sure the enemy does not notice you if anything goes wrong send us the message immediately " Ridae said with concern. Hoseok smiled and kissed her forehead and left.
The queen and Ridae were both stressed about Hoseok going at the borders of enemy kingdom to know the situation of the soilders garding the boundaries and secretly spying the other kingdoms tactics. They knew Hoseok never lost any battle until now but fate could change anytime, the queen, Ridae and her sister in laws were talking in a room " I'm so worried I hope he returns soon " Ridae said " stop worrying so much about him Ridae he'll be back tomorrow I'm sure " the queen exclaimed, Hoseok's sisters started laughing "Mother, Ridae's eyes only know two things observing things and crying for her husband " one of them said Ridae rolled her eyes the queen laughed and said "your eyes need to learn one more thing " " what" Ridae asked"keeping an eye on your man" This caught Ridae of guard she smiled and said "my Hoba dosen't even looked at another women but me "she claimed with confidence "never know, a man's gaze is a hawk's gaze always wondering here and there " Ridae heard all of this but did not let it affect her she believed it was wrong to doubt your own husband especially Hoseok .

" Hoseok was shocked to hear what one of his spy said "yes my lord the Kings nephew Lee Joon gwi Murdered his own uncle for the throne but rumors have spread that he died by a heart attack " the spy said "if this turns out to be wrong you'll be severely punished I want you to investigate the whole thing now " Hoseok said "but your majesty this going to take two to three days" Hoseok thought for some time then exclaimed "I'm giving you a day if you don't come tomorrow night you'll face consequences " the spy bowed and left the tents were set two km away from boundaries so that the other kingdom might not get suspicious .It was night time, the soilders had organised a dance for entertainment performed by female dancers (folk dance) a fire was burning in between a group of females were dancing with fans when Hoseok's eye caught on one of them she was utterly beautiful, danced in such a manner like smooth flowing water , her eyes like blue lagoon, a body like nymphs. She lured Hoseok's eyes with her graceful moves when her eyes landed on Hoseok she paused looking straight back at him she felt hypnotized by his eyes the way he looked at her made her heart flutter.
"stop" Hoseok commanded "you " he pointed at her "I want you to dance alone " she moved ahead still staring at him and stared performing ,he just couldn't take his eyes off her when she was this ethereal .

The dance was over Hoseok asked the girl to meet him later he was sitting in his tent when a solider said "your majesty the dancer wants to meet you shall I allow her? " Hoseok commanded to let her in, the soilder led her in and left. She walked towards the sofa and asked if she could sit he allowed her to sit in front of him with a table in between a glass of tea was offered her when she decided to break the ice "you invited me your majesty what can I do for you? " he asked her "Miss what is your name? " her heart fluttered hearing his voice he looked in her eyes she answered " Jung wha"
