You and Jake have been best friends since you can remember. In the past few years Jake has seemed quite protective of you, it was ever since that day... 3rd June 2010... The tragic accident.

Today you were going to visit Jake at his new place. He has recently moved into his new 9 bedroom house with his new band Stereo Kicks. This means they all get a room each as their is 8 of them and their is also a guest room which you would be sleeping in tonight. When you finally arrived at the house you were gobsmacked, you couldn't believe that this was your best friends house.

You had knocked the door and suddenly it swung open, standing there was a gorgeous boy. Your mouth dropped open. The gorgeous boy spoke "are you trying to catch flies?" He laughed. You quickly shut your mouth and spoke up, "I'm here to see Jake." The boy who you were still unsure of his name stepped aside and you walked through the door. As soon as Jake saw you he shouted, "Gem!!" And he quickly jumped out his seat and ran over to you picked you up and spun you around. "Jakes got a girlfriend!" One of the boys teased. "I'm not his girlfriend" you pointed out.

"Anyway this is Charlie, Reece, Tom, Chris, James, Barclay and Casey and everyone this is my best friend Gemma!"
'So that's the gorgeous boys name Casey' Charlie interrupted your thoughts "Let's play truth or dare!" He shouted. You and the boys all sat down in a circle after Jake had took your overnight bag into the guest room. Reece started, "So Gemma, truth or dare?" "Dare" you replied. "I dare you to kiss Casey!" Reece said. You and Casey just looked at eachother, you both started to lean in until your lips finally met his. You eventually pulled away when Jake interrupted "Guys you can stop now!" When you pulled away you looked straight at Jake and you could see jealousy in his eyes. Why was he jealous? He's just your best friend.

Jake walked out the room to go to the toilet. While he was gone all the boys except Casey went outside into the garden. You and Casey were sitting on the sofa talking when he started to lean in. You thought to yourself
'Should I be kissing Casey? I love Jake, yes I love him and not just as a best friend. But I can't wait forever for Jake'
After thinking, you also began to lean in towards Casey and just as your lips connected Jake walked back in. As soon as he saw you and Casey he stormed out the room, upstairs and into his room. You pulled away from Casey and said "I'm sorry, I can't do this". "I understand you love Jake it's so obvious!" He replied and laughed. "Thanks Case" and with that you went to find Jake.

You quickly ran up the stairs an straight into Jakes room. The sight you saw made you feel terrible Jake was curled up on his bed crying into his pillow. "Jake" you called. Jake soon shot up. "What are you doing in here? Just go back to Casey!" He responded. "I told Casey I couldn't do it, it just didn't feel right. What does it matter to you anyways?" You asked him politely. Jake quickly responded, "you don't get it do you Gemma I'm in love with you. I always have been and it really hit me on that day 3rd June 2010 when my dad died in that car crash. It hit me that a person you love could be gone in a second and you have to cherish every moment you have with them because that moment could be the last. That's why I've been so protective of you over the past few years. I love you Gem" You just stood there shocked for a while. "Well say something" Jake said.

"I love you too Jake and alway have I was just too scared to admit it incase you didn't feel the same..." You were interrupted by Jake pressing his lips against yours. It was perfect!

6 years later...
"I do" "I do" "You may kiss the bride" You and Jake had finally got married after 3 years of being engaged. You were very happy and you had two beautiful children named Lewis Alexander Sims and Lily-Mae Sims. Your life was simply perfect!
