Chapter 1

Hi, my name is Chelsea Upton I'm 15 and a sophomore at Clear Lake High School. My mom and dad got a divorce about 3 years ago, I haven't seen my dad since then, although I didn't really want to. So I'm currently living a great life with my mom in Miami, Florida. My two best friends, Macy and Bella live right down the road from me so we always hang out. Living in Florida is great, I've lived here my whole life and never plan to move...

(Chelsea's POV)
"Chelsea, come down here we need to talk." I heard my mom say from the kitchen.
I ran down the stairs expecting her to say something about my birthday, because it is in 3 weeks. Instead she gave me news I never wanted to hear. "I got a job offer in North Carolina and it pays me much more than I get payed here, we're moving in a week." She explained.
I ran upstairs crying and took out my phone, I made a group message with Macy, Bella, and I.

M= Macy B= Bella C= Chelsea

C- You guys down to hangout, we need to talk.😭

B- Defiantly be there in 10!❤️

M- Okay, lemme ask✌️

M- She said yes, be there soon!💘

(Bella's POV)
When Chelsea texted me and Macy asking if we could come over because she had to talk to us I was scared, I hope a boy didn't do anything, if he did he's dead. I hurried up and packed my bag and yelled to my dad: "Dad, take me to Chelsea's please and thank you." After we got there I ran in her house without even knocking, we've known eachother forever, it's normal.
"Hi Michelle." I said to her mom.
"Hey sweetie, Chelsea's in her room." She replied back with a fake smile.

(Macy's POV)
As soon as I got the text I ran downstairs and asked my parents assuming they'd say yes. I ran upstairs throwing a bunch of clothes into my bag because I figured I would be staying more than one night. I texted Chelsea when I was on my way, but I knew she was upset so we ran to Starbucks and I ordered a Caramel Frappuccino for myself, an Iced caramel macchiato for Chelsea, and a cotton candy frappuccino for Bella. When we finally got to her house I waved at her mom and ran upstairs.

(Chelsea's POV)
When they both said they could come over it made my night 20x better. I figured we could have a girls night which includes: watching movies, talking, doing our nails, etc. When I heard Bella come in I was so happy, I just needed to get moving out of my mind.
"Hey girl!" Bella said while running in my room and hugging me.
Then I saw Macy run in my room with Starbucks for us all, they truthfully are the best friends anyone could ask for.
"So you wanted to talk to us?" They both said in unison.
"Umm, yeahh..." I replied.
I was really nervous on how they were going to react to this, and I knew it wasn't going to be good.
