Hazbin Circus (name will change later)

Prologue/ Chapter 1

Charlie sat in a stool by where her parents were standing at their local candy shop in the outskirts of Hell. She sighed deeply, bored of her life of making candy and wishing there was more to her life than just making sweets with her family. An idea came to her mind. Maybe they'd let her start on her own and maybe even join the circus! She then stood up from her seat and cautiously walked towards her father. She then tapped him on the shoulder. 

 "Hey dad?" She asked. "I wanted to ask you something. 

 "Hmm?" Lucifer asked as he turned around. "What is it, sweetheart?" 

 "Um.... I was wondering.... I know our job is to make candies and sweets for all the demons, but... she sighed I'm just starting to get tired of it. I want to do something different! I want to start a circus like you and mom used to do back in the day!" 

 Lucifer swallowed then looked at his daughter in the eyes with one hand on her shoulder. "Sweetie, you know why we left that life behind.... It's not safe for a little girl to work in a place like that. The circus life is very dangerous and I don't want you interacting with shady people." 

"But dad! I'm older now! I can look after myself!" Charlie pleaded. "Please just let me do this! I can get some people to help me and I won't trust any bad people! I just want to entertain our subjects and lift their spirits a little!" 

 Lucifer sighed then smiled, touched at his daughter's kind soul and determined spirit. "Alright, but if you need help.... Just know that your mother and I will always be there to help you." 

"Thanks, Dad!" Charlie smiled and kissed her dad's cheek then ran off happily to start planning.Lucifer then sighed and put his head on the counter. Lilith then walked in. 

 "You didn't say no, did you?" 

 "No.... you saw how happy she is.... I-I can't just break her heart.... It'll ruin her..... I just want her to be happy..... She deserves some happiness even being in this cruel world.... Besides she'll find out sooner or later and hopefully come home....."
