I needed to get a lawyer for Oscar

I needed to get a lawyer for Oscar. But I was starting to think that maybe I needed more information about everything first. Maybe if I could give a lawyer more information about what happened then maybe they would be more inclined to take Oscar's case. There were only a few people that I could talk to about what happened. Only a few people knew what really went down.

Once I made it back to Oscar and Cesar's house I quickly straightened up the living room and made something quick for Cesar to eat for dinner. While the food was on the stove cooking I called Sad Eyes. "Hello? Riella? Everything okay mamita?" "Hey Tony, yeah. Um, everything is okay I guess. Hey, look, I was wondering if I could talk to you about what happened with Oscar that day?" "Oh, yeah, what do you want to know?" "Could you come get me? Kind of walk me through that day a little?" "Yeah, you ready now?" "Um hm, I'm ready." "Okay, I'll be there to pick you up in a few minutes."

I hung up the phone and finished cooking. Once everything was done I put it up in some tupperware and placed it in the refrigerator. Then I texted Cesar, letting him know where dinner was and that I would probably be back late tonight. I changed my clothes, putting on some black jeans, a black tank top and a black bomber jacket. I put my hair into a low, side ponytail and took a deep breath as I laced up my shoes. Shortly after, my phone started ringing. "Hello?" "Hey I'm outside." "Okay, I'm coming now."

I walked outside and locked the door. Then walked over to Tony's car. I got inside and smiled at him. Then immediately started wiping my eyes. Seeing Tony made me think so much of Oscar. Tony placed a hand on my shoulder, "Hey, hey, it's okay." He took a deep breath, "I miss him too." I nodded and wiped my eyes again. "Sorry." "It's okay Riella. So where do you want to start?"

"Um, let's start where he started that morning."

Tony nodded and backed the car out of the driveway. We drove out to one of their stash houses and parked behind the house. I noticed a few other cars parked in the back as well. Tony turned to me, "We came here around four in the morning. We had a shipment come in early and we had to make sure everything was accounted for."

"Once we counted everything, Ursula said she would have someone come by to pick up the payment. It seemed a little off to us because that wasn't usually how we did things. Usually we met up with Ursula's men somewhere and did an exchange. Money for the coke. We'd both unload our trunks. Then they'd pick up our bags that had the money inside and we would pick up the bags that had the work inside."

I nodded. "So why did she do it like that instead?"

He shrugged his shoulders, "I don't know. Shit Spooky was glad to get the work early so he didn't ask any questions. We just made sure everything was there. Once Ursula left, Spooky packed his trunk with a few of the duffle bags and said he was going back home. He took Santi with him, since it was my turn to keep watch at the house. They went back to his house and started bagging product and counting money. Everything was going good."

I gave him a confused look, "So what happened?" He sighed and signaled for me to follow him. I nodded and got out of the car. We started walking towards the front of the house. "So after a few hours went by, some vatos showed up to the house. They were like three cars deep. They walked up, deep as hell. It was only me, Montana and three of the cholas here at that time. So it was like five of us to like twenty of them."

I nodded as I listened to him. I was walking slightly behind him and watched as he limped on the leg that he had been shot in. My face dropped as I imagined what happened next.

"They started shouting at us, saying we took the shipment too early and they needed it back. Saying we need to pay for it first and we were trying to get over on them." He shook his head as we made it to the front yard. "We were so fucking confused Riella. We didn't make any moves, you know. They did. They bought us the shipment."

We stopped right in the middle of the yard. Montana was standing on the porch, smoking a cigarette. He squinted his eyes a little as he looked at me. Tony sighed, "After that I started getting pissed off. Montana got pissed too. We started going off and questioning them. That's when they started shooting. They shot up the house and ran in, taking whatever they could. The cholas inside held them off the best they could. They didn't get much, but they shot off as many rounds as they could."

I looked down at his leg. "I'm so sorry Tony." He shrugged his shoulders, "It's cool, I'm okay." He laughed a little, "I don't know how my crazy ass drove all the way back to Spooky's house, but I did." I nodded and walked over to him. Then I hugged him, squeezing him hard, catching him off guard. "I'm glad you're still alive." He hesitated for a moment and then placed his hands around me too. "Thank you Riella."

Montana walked over to us and cleared his throat. We broke our hug and I looked over at him. He was really cute. I've probably only seen Montana a few times. His actual name is Rio, his last name is Montana. But everyone just got into the habit of calling him Montana. "Riella right?" I nodded my head, "Hi." "You sure you want to be around here mami? Shit's kind of hot right now and I know Spooky would have our heads if something happened to you."

"I just wanted to find out some more information about what happened. I'm trying to find Oscar a lawyer and I haven't been having the best of luck."

He nodded, "Oh okay. As a matter of fact, I know this one guy. He helped my uncle beat this drug charge last year. And he helped him beat a murder charge the year before that." I raised my eyes, "Seriously?" He nodded, "Yeah, I can take you to him if you want." "Yes please! That would be amazing." "Okay, tomorrow morning okay?" "Yes." "Cool, I'll meet you at Spooky's house." "Okay, thank you Montana." "You can call me Rio mamita." "Okay, I'll see you tomorrow Rio."
