It was a cool autumn morning when Thalia stepped on the bus. It was her first day going to Newlondon High. She wasn't really excited or nervous, she just hoped that the school would be at least better than her old school.

She's used to travelling to different schools, but this time she was staying at Newlondon for good.

Newlondon was a big town, her new house was in a small estate, mostly with 12 year old kids, she was 16 so she didn't really talk to them. At least if she doesn't find any friends in her new high-school she could always talk to the 6th graders beside her house. Even if they were obnoxious and loud.

Thalia was a pretty normal person. She was forgiving, and believed in apologys. She can be open minded and a fun person. But she can get a bit naive. She had tan white skin with only a few freckles. And her hair was  long and straight, light brown with blonde highlights. Her eyes were deep brown, almost black. Her teeth were perfectly straight even though she never had braces before. And she was a bit shorter than the other teenagers her age. Thalia Anne Lewis was her full name.

Finally she got off the bus and headed towards the school gates. The gates were pretty big, and at first didn't budge but then finally they opened with a creaking sound. Nobody seemed to notice she was new until she walked through the school door. That's when people started to notice her. Nobody walked up to her except one girl. "I'm May!" she said excitedly. "Oh hi, I'm Thalia!"

Thalia's pov:
It was pretty clear that May wanted to be my friend. I was honestly happy she greeted me since nobody else did, and I was starting to get a bit lost in the school. "It's pretty big here" I said looking around the hall. "Oh do you know were the locker rooms are?" I said looking back at her. She was the same height as me with golden blonde hair and dark blue eyes. "Mhm, I'll show you where they are!".

She walked down the hallway and took a left to a room with the sign "Girls locker room" it had some scratches on it but it was clear enough to read. I looked over to the door beside the girls locker room. I was bearly able to read the sign on it because it was covered in graffiti, but I figured out it read "Boys locker room"

May took me in the locker room and I found my locker and put the pin in it. I shoved my bag in there and took out the books I needed for English class. There was only a couple more girls in the room. They all greeted me except for a tall girl with dark brown hair covering her face. While I was walking back to the hall with May, I decided I should get to know her a bit. She seemed really bubbly and talkitive in a good way. Then all of a sudden she said "You should try out for the cheerleading team! They're doing tryouts today!" I've tried out cheerleading before, and I never got in any of the teams. But I figured maybe this time I would get in. So I agreed and she told me to meet her at the pitch after school.

After being introduced to the class and going into English, physics, etcetera. Oh and lunch! I went to the pitch behind the school. I met up with May! I asked her how this whole thing worked, but she just told me to wait on the bleachers. So I did.

I didn't notice at first but there was a guy sitting on the bleachers too. It was just him and I. I realised it would be kinda awkward just sitting there, so I scuffled up to him. He had jet black hair with noticable dark green eyes. He was doing something on his phone and he didn't pay attention to me. "Hi I'm Thalia! Are you trying out for the cheerlrading squad?"
