I was 14. You were 13. When we first meet, kids. It was a snowy night when my friend Mer asked "do you want to be put in this group chat?" Confused by who was in it I asked her and she responded with "complete strangers." I then got to know the meaning of "long distance friendships" and I wanted some of my own. I agreed and immediately felt at home. I was a complete stranger in this group chat who I knew nothing about and everyone was welcoming me as if I was always there. There was this one guy who every one seemed to love, his name was Alex. Everyone in the chat was "WHIP IT OUT ALEX- SHOW THE NEW GIRL" I had NO clue what they were talking about. Turns out Alex was transgender and had a silicone dick that everyone loved. I found it absolutely hilarious, he knew that so he private messaged me pictures of it with his cat fuzzle until I couldn't breathe I was laughing so hard. That night mer fell asleep besides me but we sure didn't, we talked ALL night. About what? Who knows. Our favorite candy, shows, his cat, our lives. Found out that night he lived in North Carolina, 900 miles away. Didn't seem like a problem then. But boy did it turn into one.
