Anne and Vincent are friends since preschool. They both develop a crush to each other since they were elementary but they choose to ignore it knowing that the others won't like him/her.
As time goes by,they're feeling for each other start to grew. On their second year on High school,Vincent decided to confess to Anne since he can't keep it anymore. Vincent was surprise that Anne told him that she like him back. So,after 4 years of being together, Anne and Vincent got to graduate with their friends. The couple got accepted at their selected college. Anne is going to Manila while Vincent is going to Bulacan State University. The couple were sad that they were going to leave each other but Anne is more sadder than Vincent since Vincent is staying in Bulacan while Anne is moving to Manila.

~Anne's Point Of View~

I am going back to Bulacan after my second year in manila. i didn't tell anyone I am coming back except my friend, Tiffany since Tiffany was with me in Manila. I decided to surprise my boyfriend and friends and family. I was so excited to go home that Tiffany have to drive fast. When we arrive in front of my's place, I went out of the car with my luggage and told Tiffany, "I'll call you when we are going back to Manila again. Thanks for the ride." Tiffany smiled at me then said. "Don't worry. I remember we will be leaving next month. You can relax with your boyfriend and family. I'll call you again." I nod at her then went in my house and barge in the door and shouted,"Guess who's back?!" My baby sister and mother rush to me hugging me. I hugged my family then told them that I am going to Julianna's place. I wave goodbye to thems then walked to Julianna's place.When I arrive there,I was greeted by Emiel. Emiel smiled at me and hugged me. I hugged him back and said. "I miss you,bes." "I miss you too,besh." Emiel answer. I went in Julianna's house and knock on the door.The door open and was greeted by Julianna's mom,Wea Aquino. Wea gasped and hugged me and said.

"I miss you so much,Anne." I smiled at auntie and nod then said. "I miss you too,tita.But where's Julianna?" Auntie Wea said while laughing. "Fluent ka na sa English ah. Talo mo pa tlga si Julianna."I laugh along with Emiel.Auntie Wea said with a smile, "Nasa kwarto sya nag rereview para sa second sem nya." I nod then went in the house with her approval then went to Julianna's room and knock on her door. I went in the room after hearing a come in. When I got in,I was met with a hug. I smiled and notice then all of his friend are there. I hugged my friends back then sat on the bed where Julianna and Faye are. Faye asked. "When did you come back?" "40 minutes ago." I answered with a smile. Matthew hand me his phone which shown a picture of Vincent with another girl. My smile drop then asked. "Are they together?" Everyone of my friends quiet down and notice the tear that are building on her eyes.Carmela hugged me and said. "They're dating.We are sorry for not telling you,Anne.' I fake a smile then said. "It's fine,guys.I'll be fine.Does anyone know where he is?" kathleen walked to me and said. "He is on a date with Maxene." "Oh! Can someone take me home?"I asked my friends.

Julianna stand up then told me she will take mr home. We walked out of the house after I say goodbye to my friends and aunt. While me and Julianna are walking,I broke down into tears which made Julianna hugged me. (A/N:Julianna here is taller than Anne,Anne is 5'5" while Julianna is 5'10")

Julianna comfort me. When I was calm,I mumble. "I want to leave and never come back." I think Julianna heard me since she guide me back to her place we aren't that far yet. When we are in the living room, Cluisa and our other friends comfort me while Emiel make tea. Matthew said. "Sorry for showing to you that,Anne. I just can't keep it a secret. I want to tell you but we don't want you heartbroken and we got busy at school." I gave Matthew a smile and said. "It's fine,Matthew. It's better that you tell me so I can know the truth." kathleen hugged me and said. "Vincent found out you return."

~The next day~
~3rd Person's Point Of View~

Anne was waiting for Vincent at her uncle's milktea for Vincent.After 10 minutes of waiting,she stand up and was about to leave till Vincent came in the store. Anne sat back and fake a smiled at Vincent and Maxene. Yes,Vincent brought Maxene with him which broke Anne's heart but she show no emotion when they sat infront of her. Anne asked. "Do you want to order? It's free since my uncle is gonna pass this to me,so it's free" Vincent nod at her then Anne called a waiter and told him their order. When they are waiting for their order,Anne took off the ring that Vincent gave to him 2 years ago before she leaves. and gave it back to Vincent which shock Vincent. Anne said. "You can have it back since I found out your dating Maxene. Well,you two look good together anyways.So,let's finish this.I am letting you go."

When they're orders arrive,Anne was already crying same as Vincent.Anne took her milk tea and stand up then said.

"Send my love to your new lover

Treat her better

We gotta let go of all of our ghosts

We've both know we ain't kids no more...
