Koji's POV
The sound of my alarm clock's loud buzzer woke me up. Ugh. Why does my mother always set this clock to ring at 6 a.m. when school doesn't even start until next week?
"Koji, you need to get used in waking up early so you'd be ready for school next week."
My mother's voice is now echoing in my mind. Okay, okay .. I hate this but I'll try to get used to it.
My heavy body rised up from my bed which I felt was trying to hug me so tight that I could hardly rise. I rubbed my eyes as I walked towards the bathroom and did my daily routine every morning.
"Why is the water so cold every morning?", I thought. Early in the morning and I'm already pissed off.
"What a great start to your day.", my sarcastic inner self told me.
After doing my daily routine, I went to our living room and saw my mother cooking something.
"So you've woken up Koji! I made some delicious pancakes for our breakfast. Come and sit down so you could taste the great pancake made by yours truly~", my mother said while dancing and putting the freshly cooked pancakes in the dining table.
I followed what she said. I tasted the pancakes and realized how awful of a chef my mother is.
"Mother, this pancake is too sweet. Its sweetness is so great that my tastebuds can't even identify the other senses of taste anymore.", I commented and then went to my room after that. I changed my clothes, grabbed some money from my savings and then went my way outside our house.
My mother called me which made me pause from walking.
"Where are you going Koji?", my mother asked while wearing a worried face.
"I'm going to buy some decent breakfast.", I replied and ran towards the way to the convenience store.
I hate how people are so annoying and narrow-minded.
