My Best Friend's Brother (A Reece Mastin Fanfic)

Chapter 4

CHAPTER 4!!!!!!!!!!!!

It had been 2 months since Reece had left. He had either called me or skyped me every single day and I was still missing him like crazy. I was so proud of how far he had come though. He had made it through boot camp and judges houses! Reece had decided to stay in Sydney until the live shows, even though he missed all of us, he thought it would be better if he stayed. I was currently packing my suitcase. The Mastins were going to Sydney for the live shows but what Reece didn’t know is that it had been decided that I would go with them to the first live show and then to the Grand Final if he made it that far. I packed everything I needed as we would be staying for 5 days.

It’s Friday and the first live show is this Monday, so we are leaving tomorrow and coming home on Wednesday. We had never been to Sydney before so we wanted to stay for a few days and hopefully see Reece. I was excited to see him perform, I had seen him many times before but definitely nothing like this! I’d only seen him perform around the house and at local gigs with his friends. I didn’t know if I’d actually be able to see Reece or not because he would either be in the Xfactor house or rehearsing another song. He was on a tight schedule but I was going to try my best to see him sometime during those 5 days. Our flight was at 11:00am tomorrow but the Mastins were picking me up at 10:00am. I finished packing and then went to bed, too excited to sleep but eventually drifting off.

I woke up at 9:00am the next morning and jumped out of bed. I changed into a white top with a peacock feather pattern over the right shoulder, a pair of blue shorts and a pair of blue peep toe heels. I put on some blue star earrings, a silver cross ring, a blue bow headband, some bracelets and a pair of glasses with the lenses taken out of them that I “borrowed” from Reece. I put my makeup on and left my hair down.

The Mastins arrived at 10:00am and I said goodbye to my family before putting my luggage in the boot and hopping into the car. Deb and Darren were in the front, Liv, Georgina and I were in the middle and Philippa was in the very back, slightly squished by everyone’s luggage. We got to the airport and checked in before heading to our gate and waiting for boarding. We soon got on the plane and I sat by the window next to Georgie. The plane had screens in the back of the seats, so I watched tv for most of the flight.

After a little while we were landing in Sydney. We jumped off the plane and collected our luggage before heading to our rental car and driving to the hotel. We were staying at The Hilton and we had booked 3 double rooms. Deb and Darren in one, Liv and Philippa in another and me and Georgina in the last. We went into our rooms and rested. Then me and Georgina decided to go swimming with Liv and Philippa for a while. We had dinner and then went to bed.

The next day passed by quickly, we went to the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. We spent the day sightseeing and by the time we got back to the hotel we were all very tired. We went to bed early so we weren’t tired for tomorrow, but I was too excited to sleep. I was going to see Reece perform tomorrow. It was 1:30am by the time I fell asleep.

Sorry, this was a bad chapter and my laptop is silly so I don’t know if another chapter will be up next week or not :(
