Epilogue - The Children of Water

The summer passed by in a blur of new friendships.

Max and Lily and Nico became inseparable. Max dedicated herself to honing her new powers over water that slowly returned to her. She also found that along with her water abilities she was also handy with a bow. Lily was a champion again in the arena on fight night, barely missing her chances at the final round against Percy. Word had somehow spread through the camp of Lily's vocal capabilities one day, some said that a certain dark haired son of the underworld had been spreading the rumor, but of course no one could be sure. After a secrete meeting of the Singers Of Olympia (the newest name of one of the popular bands in the camp who were on a rotation for campfire singing) Lily was given the opportunity to join. She agreed and after their first performance, everyone was thrilled. Nico trained with Lily on his sword skills after a embarrassing defeat from her at their recent Capture the flag. Soon he was at the top of his game, but Lily still bested him easily. Percy had taught her well.

Much to Nico's dismay, nothing changed romantically in their relationship. It bothered him surprisingly little. He was only happy to be by her side after the scare with Mother Forurá. Instead he proudly watch Lily turn down two more guys in hopes of dating her. Lily felt no need for anything romantic. She felt she needed to stay true to her mother's will anyways. Lily was happy to just have lots of friends.

Jaimie took on neither the bow or sword. He went toward more contact instruments of destruction. Clarasse took an interest in his weapon predicament. She showed him the mace and spear. Jaimie preformed spectacularly with a new addition Celestial Bronze mace that Ronny and Leo made. With him, Percy, Max, and Lily all in one cabin and showing great skill they were a very prominent cabin in all Capture the Flag competitions that followed that summer.

Percy was thrilled to have more siblings. He made sure every night ended in a heated debate over blue pastries, best ever pranks, and a mandatory pillow fight. Only then would Lily be able to coax him into bed. He and annabeth were a close as ever.

Annabeth and Percy that year had in fact graduated. Annabeth of course was Valedictorian. The pair had planned to go to college in New Rome that next year. But after finding Percy's new siblings Annabeth swore herself to home (or rather camp) schooling then the next year. When people tried to persuade her other wise Annabeth wouldn't hear it. Whether her motive was to make sure they were schooled or to spend a year off with her boyfriend and siblings, no one knew. So that year Lily, Max, Nico, Percy, Annabeth, and Jaimie all stayed at camp to learn things.

Ronny flourished in his cabin. He had tons of new friends and recently discovered how to hand make a flame thrower, life was good. The boy had even put together his own group of prank artists. The group was some hepheasteus boys and some hermes boys plus a long range pie launcher. To say the least they were the cause of The Legendary Camp Half-Blood Pie War.

Leo was much more like himself. He was witty and always on a new project. His summer project was a demigod safe phone. Through hard work and strict critics (Lily and Max) he finally completed one. At the end of the summer he had successfully created a prototype that didn't blow up as soon as you touched the screen. It was a work in progress.

All in all it was a good year. Sure there were monsters that threatened to tear everything they loved apart. But that happened every year, so that doesn't matter.

Lily Mayflower felt so blessed to have so many good friends. After such a difficult welcome to camp she was happy. She was surrounded by people who cared about her and it made everything okay. Although she wouldn't let herself dwell on the small voice inside her that spread doubt in her mind like a virus warning of the dangers to come and the sadness soon to over take her.

But I am sure it was nothing.
