IN THE NAME OF LOVE

I give her a hug trying to comfort her "girl what's going on?" I whispered, "do you want to talk about it?" She nods and pulled away.

She wiped the tears on her cheek looking down "is it about alex?" I couldn't wait more to figure out the issue behind this sadness and sorrow showing up on her face, and it's when she nods that I feel proud of my feelings towards that alex, i never trust that he love or even care for her.

" the jackass" i said through clenched teeths "i warned you.." i was about to start my lecture before realizing it's not the right timing for that.

"Tell me dear, what that jackass did to you" i said ducking my face to face her, "he never love me, he was just messing with me..." she start but the tears again stop her from speaking, i put my hand on her thight "he cheated on you?" I asked already knowing the answer

She nods "i told you kate, i told you he was just playing and messing around, he dosen't know what love is, if only you consider what i told you before falling this hard for him" I couldn't controle my anger any more.

" when and how you did figure out?" My anger is getting higher " remember when i told you that i will made him a surprise a day before his birthday? I did prepare everything we need to spend a special day in his apartement, i told him that im busy and i can't see him to surprise him, but once i was there i found him on bed with an other woman..he.." she's back crying.

"Shh..he dosen't deserve you..you hear me? He dosen't. Even those tears are much precious to be slided down on that ugly stupid jackass" he is honestly far away of being ugly, but i just coudn't find the word to insult him.

"All men are the same" i whispered but she did hear me "i envy you flore, i mean, always been this strong and wise and never let your heart or feeling at man's mercy, how could you have this attitude?"

It's true it's been a long time of been in relationship, except the contestants my mom force me to meet, but never last more than a week, even my decisions in relationship are always lead by my brain, my heart is always safe and I never give it the chance to interact. That's why i didn't taste neither the sweetness of been madly in love, nor the bitterness of hurt and betrayal.

"It's not an attitude, it's a choice kate, you too, you can in this moment chose to be strong enough not letting any riduculous jackass gain your pure and honest love, chose not to show your weakness or overlove a man, chose to know the man you are with very well before giving him yourself, chose..."

She shook her head smilling and raising her hands in surrender " that's too much for me to chose, all i can chose currently is getting up to wash my face and take a shower" im happy to see her smile finally, even it's a tired one, but it's ok i won't let her untill it becomes a laughter.

She get up to the bathroom, but before walking in, she looks back "that ugly stupid jackass?" she repeat what i said before laughing "you didn't find an insult better than ugly, you know he is not"

"I.. just...I don't know, that's what came to my mind, you know im not good at insulting people" i said loudly so she can hear me from the bathroom.

While she was taking shower, i decide to cheer her up, starting from the kitchen, i started to cook her favorite dish ever, its italian "raviolli " i turn on latino music, no more drama over men.

Every thing was ready, our lunch is on table, she come in to living room, and with my mouth wide open "look at you girl, i can't beleive this pretty, sexy, fresh young lady cried over an ugl..." She cut me off " ugly stupid jackass" we said it together and burst into laughter.

"On this planet, there is about 2 Mr male
, alex not included, and there is no way one of the right ones will be mistaken his way towards you pretty lady" i said pushing her hair back.
