EVERYTHING YOU KNEW WAS NEVER EVERYTHING
My name is not on the dictionary
But everyone seems to know the definition of me
Well, I only let them be
Because honestly, everything they knew was never everything
I put up a really strong barricade
Some may call it a facade
Everyday I am at a masquerade
Playing a game of charade
Mirror, mirror on the wall
Tell me, did they really knew it all?
I guess not, I guess no
Nobody ever did
Can they tell me something I did not know?
About myself, about how life goes
Can they just walk with these shoes?
And tell me, how life felt from my point of view
Don't judge, when you've only seen the surface
The key to knowing me has never existed
Because I am an unsolved mystery
And everything you knew about me, it was never everything
