Chapter 28

°Lily's POV°

We arrived at an Italian restaurant and got out if the car.

"Ready?" Hayes asked me.

"Yeah let's go I'm starving" I relied as my stomach growled. We walked in and they seated us. I looked over the menu and didn't really know what to get. "You should try the pasta its so good" Hayes said. I nodded and the waiter came over.

"Hi do you want any drinks?" He asked.

"Yes can I have a water" I said.

"And can I have a coke" Hayes said

"Sure thing are you guys ready to order or?" He asked.

"Yeah I'll have the pasta with vodka sauce, and Hayes?" I said.

"Can I get the same thing" he said.

"Sur I'll come back with you drinks." He said walking away.

"I have to use the restroom" Hayes said getting up from the table.

°Hayes POV°

I lied. I was actually going to talk to the waiter.

"Um Sir can I talk to you for a second."

"Of course what's up?" He asked.

"Okay so the girl I came with, I want to propose to her but I want it to be a surprise."

"Like put it in the food or?" He asked.

"Yeah can you actually put it in the napkin with the fork and knife"

"Yes I can"

"Thanks" I said walking back to the table. I sat down and Lily and I talked until the guy brought our drinks and the napkins. Our food came out 5 minutes later and I couldn't wait for her to open the napkin.

°Lily's POV°

The food came and I picked up the napkin to open it. As I was opening it something fell out onto the table.

"What's this?" I said picking up the shiny thing that fell out. Right when it I saw Hayes look at me with a big smile on his face. He took the ring and bent down on one knee.

"Lily Rose Smith, will you do me the honor of making me the happiest man alive, and marrying me?" He asked.

"YES!" I yelled jumping into his arms and kissing him. He put me down and placed the ring on my finger.

"I love you so much Hayes" I said.

"I love you more Lily"
