Kiari James just moved to L.A to start her 12th grade year, while in one of her classes She meets Luca who is in the same grade as her. After awhile she and Luca start talking but Luca has a dirty little secret. Will she figure what he's hiding?
Later that day at home I thought about something Liberty told me earlier, she said he came to L. A a couple of years ago which means he's from somewhere else. The way she described him she made him seem so private. I really want to get to know him more. I try to put it out of my mind and go to sleep. "Kiari it's time to get up." My mom spoke softly. I'll be downstairs in a min mom. I get up and proceed to do my normal routine and get dressed. I grabbed my phone off the charger and my book bag off my chair by my desk and went downstairs. I'm not much of a breakfast eater, so I just grabbed an apple off the kitchen table and got in the car. When I finally arrived at school I saw Liberty in the hallway talking to Luca and walked over to them. "Hey you guys," I said with a warm smile on my face. "Hey" they both greeted me back. So have you made any new friends outside of us? Liberty asked. No, I normally keep to myself. I'm still new so I'm shocked I made you two friends. The bell rings which means it's time for the first period. The rest of the day went off without a hitch. When the day was over I was walking out of the front door and I saw Luca standing outside the school. "Hey," I said to him. "Hey, pretty girl," he says back. I looked down as I blushed. "So what are you doing this weekend? " he asked with a curious tone. "Nothing much. Why? " Do you want to go roller skating this weekend? Sure I say. Here let me give you my number. I put my number in his phone and called so I have his number. Almost on cue, my mom pulled up. I told Luca goodbye and got in the car and she pulled off. "So, who was that ?" She asked while wiggling her eyebrows at me. "That was Luca," I said with a slight giggle. "You like him, don't you"? "What? Mom, I barely know him. He just asked if I wanted to go skating with him this weekend. Oh ok, I'm just happy you are making new friends. (6 hours later) As I was doing my homework. I got an FT call from Luca. "Hey there, what you doing"? Just working on my art homework. Let me see he says

"I'm exhausted," I tell him. How? You didn't do much today. I don't know I'm just tired. Well, I'm going to let you get to bed then. He says. So you just called to get a look at my homework? I question. No, I called to get a look at your pretty face. He smiled at me. Good Night he says. Goodnight I say back. After I finished my art project, I went and tucked myself into bed. I couldn't wait for tomorrow.
