Midoriya P.O.V.

I woke up with a nightmare once again, but I somehow was feeling quite refreshed after the events of last night, as it seemed I had found a new way to control the voices more by acknowledging what they were telling me and do as they say. I still went to train, and although they became stronger I didn't care. The only difference was that I had to endure the pain in my left wrist while doing push ups and other exercises that demanded some sort of strength in my wrist. I still didn't care, as all actions have drawbacks, but as long as the people around me didn't notice, I would be fine. I especially didn't want to get Uraraka worried, I had already done that too much, and my excuse for my bandaged arm would be that I wanted to protect my scars in my arm, as it was full of them, that is why I run up the gauze to my elbow.

As I was walking back to the dorms my phone indicates me that I have received a message from non other than my mentor. I hope you are doing well young Midoriya and following your exercises thoroughly. I want to try something new when I am back. See you soon. It had been two weeks since All Might left, and that small message brought a bit of happiness as at least I was doing what he asked of me. At the door of Heights Alliance, I see that someone has already appeared and decided to make themselves breakfast, and it was non other than the dual colored hair that was as cold as his right side. I walked in and he instantly notices me "Good morning Midoriya" I just smile back, a bit more genuine today as things had started to look up. "Good morning" and after our short exchange, I decided that today I would have a small breakfast as I needed to silence the rowdy monster that became my stomach.

Uraraka P.O.V.

I woke up and did my daily routine before school before heading down into the common area. I was greeted by Mina and Hagakure as I come down the stairs ready to have my breakfast. There was still no sign of Deku though, and that made me frown for a bit, until Todoroki comes up to me as he probably noticed my expression and knew exactly what it meant. "I saw him this morning quite early and he had breakfast. He seemed to come from training and was rather lively." and with those words spoken, he went of too his dorm so that he himself can get ready for another day of school. I thought it was weird how Todoroki described him, until I remembered he looked like a zombie for the past days, but something seemed off. A change that fast didn't sit well with me for a reason.

After having breakfast and heading to U.A. I was sitting at my desk and Deku came through the door with his head higher than what it had been. He still had the bags under his eyes but not as much and when we made eye contact I waved at him and he waved back in his cheerful manner that I had missed these days. It didn't seem fake like the others had seemed and he truly looked better, and as he sat down, I couldn't help but stare as his emerald eyes enchanted me, as if I was trapped by his bright smile he gave me a few seconds prior. The moment was short lived when the bell rang and the scruffy man with a monotone voice gained the attention of everyone in the classroom.

Classes seemed to go by faster as I took notes of what Aizawa had to say about hero history, as he would always say at some point in the class that we were learning this to not repeat the mistakes made by those before us, and learn from them. Although he made it seemed boring, I was sure Deku found it overly entertaining as he scribbled his notes at lightning pace. However, English class with Present Mic was much more frustrating and we all wanted it to finish as soon as possible. As the bell rang, we all headed to the cafeteria and Deku joined me in my walk there and everything did seem to change. Still, because we where in our own world, Deku managed to bump Bakugo from behind and the ash blond seemed even more irritated when he turned around. "Watch your step you fucking Deku! Stop being so useless and annoying, you stupid dumbass!" Deku became a mess after that and it seemed to affect him for worse while he hung his head lower and tried to apologise while stuttering to a walking Bakugo.

While we walked there, my hatred for Bakugo grew, as even if I expected a hot headed reaction, he seemed to go the extra mile for Deku, and he didn't even care if it affected him, and it wasn't even the first time I saw him do it. "You know he isn't right, do you?" He didn't even respond, as if he just kept processing what had happened, and every time he replayed the words, they seemed to sting more. "DEKU!" I shouted at him to get his attention. "Don't listen to him, he is just being rude and mean for no reason. I don't even understand why he has such a problem with you." He hummed in response and put his head back down and then mumbled "He always had" as he referred back to what I told him. "What do you mean?" It seemed as if he knew why Bakugo hated him since we started at U.A. "Hm? Ah, don't worry about it."

Third person P.O.V.

Midoriya, Uraraka, Iida and Todoroki sat together at a table eating lunch, shortly after being joined by Yaoyorozu who sat next to Todoroki. No one knew why but they didn't seemed to have a problem with it. "So Deku, when will you be seeing Eri again? Hopefully we can see her too!" Uraraka exclaimed, as she remembered that the cute white haired girl was supposed to visit soon. "This weekend actually, and she'll come by the dorms. I'm sure she remembers most of you from the festival." He answered, as he too seemed excited to see her rescued friend. although the mention of her brought guilt into his eyes, as he could once again remember some of the nightmares he had. Uraraka, who was next to him, saw this instantly and she leaned into his ear to whisper "Remember, it isn't your fault." as she also recalled what he told her that night and how he felt. He just nodded in response, and continued their lunch peacefully together.

Heyoo. This chapter is a bit longer, but that is because the announcement at the end was worth it. Eri is such an important character for Deku in the actual manga and anime, so I really want to see how I can twist this. Also, I know this is earlier, but it is because Argentinian weather is really good sometimes and I got to train earlier today, and plan out better. Remember that you are just as important as the rest of the people in the world and keep your head up. I hope you had and have an amazing day, and I shall be seeing you tomorrow. \( ͡° ͜/// ͡°)/
