Chapter 46

So today was officially my last full day with Jc, considering tomorrow was my first day of my Senior Year. It was currently 7:00 AM and Jc was asleep so I decided to go downstairs and get something to eat.

To my surprise I found my cousin in the kitchen.

"I thought you'd be asleep."

"Oh, God you scared me! Same to you and good morning" she greeted.

"You're leaving I assume" I wasn't gonna lie, I was a bit upset.

"Yes" she sighed "I'm sorry I won't be here for the first few days of your Senior Year, but I'll be here when I can."

I nodded, which was the only reaction I had.

"I'll miss you so much" she said as she attacked me in the bearest of all hugs and then kissed my forehead "and tell Jc he can stay all he wants to keep you company and take care. I'll be back before you know it."

"Ok, love you" I softly smiled.

"Love you too" she smiled back as she got her suitcase and keys and walked through the front door.

So, I decided to ignore my mixed emotions and just make myself a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, because that's basically the best anecdote for depressing moments.

I watched some TV and suddenly got bored with myself, so I decided why not just bug Jc?

I went up to the guest room where Jc was sleeping and I saw his beautiful peaceful face sleeping so restfully. So, being the sane person I am, I got a pillow and started hitting him with it.

"WHY ARE YOU SLEEPING?!" I yelled into his ear, as he gracefully chuckled and got a hold of me and flipped me over where I was below him.

"Now, that isn't very nice" he smiled, flashing me his white teeth.

"What ya gonna do about it?" I smirked.

So, him, being the sane person he is started tickling me and that really isn't funny if you ask me.

"Stop it, please. Jc, you know how ticklish I am!" I tried convincing.

"I know that's why I'm doing it" he teased.

"You're a meanie" I pouted as I pushed him off. "You hungry?"

"No, not really. I just want yogurt or something."

"Well, that's good 'cause I wasn't gonna make you anything anyway" I scoffed.

"Aww is someone mad?" he smirked.

"No" I rolled my eyes. As he just stared at me with a sneaky smile. "What are you thinking?" I asked suspiciously.

Without any warning he picks me up and starts running downstairs with me over the shoulder.

"Jc, I freaking hate you!" I exclaimed.

"No you don't" he laughed, as he continued going down the stairs.

"If you drop me-"

"Don't jinx it" he said, and that gave me a pale color. "I'm just kidding."

"Can you just get down, so I can get down. Because honestly you're lagging." I announced, annoyed.

"You know you're not that light" he joked.

"Are you calling me fat?" I gasped.

"You know I was joking" he stated, as he got off the last step and set me on my feet.

"Thank you, my self-esteem is definitely below sea level now" I sarcastically smiled.

"I was joking. I'm sorry, I didn't mean it." he pleaded.

"You don't joke about that stuff Jc. I may be overreacting but you don't joke about that."

"I'm sorry" he looked ashamed "I'm gonna go brush my teeth. I'll be right back."

The rest of the day was just another typical lazy day with Jc. We watched movies all day while laying together on the couch. Then, he had the nerve to make me go to sleep at 9, just 'cause I had school tomorrow.
