Chapter 96

Harry made love to Marian and held her in his arms the whole night. The next morning they got up and made breakfast together and ate with Faith. Sitting her in her playpen they started to go through the house. Discussing what would stay in the house and what they would divide up. It was a pleasant time with only a few little spats over some things.

After lunch Kaia texted Marian that she would be coming over soon if she still would like some help. Harry told Marian he had a meeting with his manager so he could make arrangements for when they came to Japan. They put Faith down for her nap and he kissed his wife for one of the last times. "I won't be gone long, I promise. Maybe we can grill out for dinner," he suggested.

"That sounds fascinating." Marian smiled. "Have a good .meeting"

"What should we have. I'll stop at the store on the way home," he said. "Surf and turf? Burgers?"

"Burgers, for sure.  I will have the rest of the groceries delivered."

He grinned at her and then kissed her cheek. "I'll be home soon, love." Harry left the house and got into his car. He has already messaged his manager about when Marian and Faith would join him and all the details he wanted done so all he had to do was pick up the papers which would give him plenty of time to meet with Louis to not cause Marian to be suspicious.

I'm on my way. See you shortly at The Lion Pub. He passed Kaia on the road and gave her a wave.

On my way. Louis texted he was only a couple blocks away the pub and he would definitely need a beer if she was going to talk to Harry. He couldn't remember the last time they had spoken.

Kaia went inside and found Marian standing in the living room. "Where's Harry going?"

"He's going to meet with his manager. He mentioned that he had three nights in Japan and he knows I've been dying to go back to Tokyo Disneyland and take Faith. So he offered that as a good spot to meet up and do the baby switch. Do you think I took take with Ahmir with me?" 

"To Tokyo?" Kaia asked.

"Yes, he would give me a little bit of a buffer. It's okay if you don't trust me or want him to go, I understand.  Want something to drink?"

Kaia set her purse down. "Sure," she said. "It shouldn't be a problem. Just let me know the dates so I can check Ahmir's schedule. That kid wants to take so many extra classes this summer," she said with a laugh.

"I don't want to be a burden."

"You aren't a burden.  Besides, you know Ahmir will jump at any chance to spend time with you. He's very protective of you. Especially around Harry."

"Thank you, Kaia, I appreciate that and your help. Tea?"

"Tea sounds perfect," she said and followed her into the kitchen. "What will you tell Louis about going to Japan?" 

"If we are dating at that time I hope he will understand that  have to do things with Harry from time to time because of Faith."

"I think he will. You and Harry share a child. That's something that won't ever go away," she said. "Did Harry sleep in a separate bedroom last night?"

"Nosey much?" Marian said taking the kettle and putting it on the stove top "I also have to worry about Harry scaring Louis off thanks to you telling him. I'm not sure of anything until the divorce is final."

"Well, he did sign the papers," Kaia said and was a little put off by Marian's prickliness. "Which my husband has so he can't rip them up this time. Zayn said he'll stop over after Harry leaves for you to sign them if that's okay."
