Look, I know I said that I would practice some HR this week or so.
Yeah, I lied, but I guarantee that next week will have some HardRock news.
Anyways, onto some of my nutty plays (this will be shorter since I went on a small vacation during this time)
A pass on Riven's "Yomi Yori..."FC on a random sotarks jumps map
and last but not least, an insane play on "The Deceit / The Violation" Pishi's difficulty.
I have a liveplay of this map up on my channel, if you want to check it out.
One thing that I've been noticing is that I can not alternate to save my life. I noticed when practicing for a tournament, and I noticed it every time I play with DT. My brain has been trained for single tapping almost no matter what, so when I have a map that is way too fast for me to comfortably singetap, my mind explodes. So I want to put that down as another thing to learn with this journal.Anyways, my tournament qualifiers are tomorrow, and there are so many people that are going to be cut, I just hope that I can make it in, since I got declined from my last two tournaments since I multi-accounted within the last year when I wasn't aware of it being a rule.
I might start another section soon with something else related to osu! like something for motivation or a random tip, idk
For now, here's my tip to any aspiring speed players: It may seem like many low-ranking speed players are solely carried by genetics or luck, but that is never the case. For everybody (including myself) you must spend hundreds of hours practicing almost only speed and stamina maps until you can start getting better plays. Never assume that you can't reach a certain BPM goal. If your fingers don't work, try using your keyboard and mouse buttons.
See ya next week :D

Bluegoat's osu! journal
Não FicçãoPretty much gonna make a journal of my osu life. I'll mainly be focusing on skills I'm less good at, and focus less on my good skills (even if I'm am unreasonably good at fast streams).
