"Baby what about this lobster?" I suggested to August as we sat for lunch at one of the hottest restaurants in Atlanta, Paz. "It says its New Orleans styled."

"Nah, I was actually looking at this steak and mash potatoes over here, that look good as hell."

I scoffed. "Ehh, it's iight. But I'm sticking with the lobster."

"$55 for some lobster, Kay? Hell nah," He said, shaking his head. "If you want some lobster, I'll make you it myself."

I laughed. "You can't even make boiling water, what makes you think I'll let you make me some lobster?"

"You must not know shit about your man if you didn't know I throw it down in the kitchen," He smirked, cockily.

"Since when?" I asked, folding my arms.

"My mama taught me a little while ago. And I been cooking for the girls and em ever since. Ask Chandra if you'on believe me."

"Oh trust me I will," I giggled still not believing his ass.

"Are you guys ready to order?" The waiter asked walking back up to us.

"Yes, I'll have the lobster," I said, eyeing August for his reaction.

"No problem and what's your side?"

"Mash potatoes and macaroni and cheese, please."

"And you sir?"

"Uh, just gimme the steak with the same sides as her."

"Alright, cool and hold up I just had to ask, are you Kalissa Junior? The Essence model?"

I nodded, blushing. "Why yes I am."

"Oh damn, I just wanted to say you're gorgeous."

"Thank you," I grinned, happy to have my first fan.

"Can you take a pic with me, please?" He asked, pulling out his iPhone.

"Sure. August, do you mind?" I asked handing him the phone. August mean mugged us before snatching it and taking a pic.

"Thanks, man. I'll have your food in a minute," He smiled, walking away.

I nonchalantly sipped my water feeling August still mean mugging me. I looked up at his face and burst out laughing.

"Oh so that's funny, Kay?" He asked, sipping his lemonade.

"August are you jealous?" I teased with a smile.

"Ain't nobody jealous," He fanned me off. Just then he caught sight of something behind me. "The fuck?"

"What's wrong? What you lookin at?" I asked, turning around just in time to see Trey and Lola taking a seat at a booth in the far corner.

"Oh hell nah," August stood up and started charging them. I jogged after him to stop him from doing whatever he was about to do.

"August it's not worth it, baby," I said stepping in front of him.

Lola started laughing and Trey joined in. "Well isn't it the broke nigga and his hoe."

I turned around and looked at her after her comment. "Hoe? Bitch, you jumping from nigga to nigga with money and I'm a hoe? You better get the fuck outta face with allat."

"Lola you a sneaky ass hoe and I hope that bitch ass nigga give you what yo ass deserve," August spat at her and then started laughing. "But aye it's cool, have fun with my leftovers, bruh."

"Mine too," Trey said, referring to me.

"I been had Kalissa, the fuck you mean your leftovers?" August asked, getting louder which caused attention. "Nigga this music industry ain't gonna save you from shit. At the end of the day, I would still beat your pussy ass."

The more August spoke the more his accent came out and the more louder his voice became. I knew he was over the edge, so I started to guide him out the restaurant toward our car where the paparazzi was all around it, snapping pictures and asking a dozen questions.

"Is the magazine story true, Mr. Alsina?"

"Kalissa did you sleep with Trey?"

"What was the fight about in there?"

We avoided them and successfully got in the car, speeding away. I laid back in the passenger's seat and closed my eyes, releasing a deep breath.

"August this all too much to deal with," I said softly. "I don't want our baby to come into all this drama. Trey and Lola saying shit to the public about us, your mom hating me, and all the media in our business."

He sighed, not saying anything. Then he pulled up to his house and we got inside in silence. We went to his room and he started undressing me, silently. I kissed his lips, undressing him too.

We made love tenderly and the only sounds that filled the room was our moans and our skin touching. I cried in his arms, not really knowing why but I felt at ease and knew that somehow, someway, everything was going to be okay.

---

A few hours later I woke up from August's side and got ready to meet Evie at Chandra's to get our hair done.

"Bittcch!" Evie and Chandra both squealed, hugging each other as if they knew each other forever. I laughed.

"Evie, what did you do to your hair already? You could see them tracks, girl," She said, patting the chair for her to sit.

"Girl, you know every time I meet a sexy ass dark skin nigga this shit happens," Evie said, making us laugh again.

"And what his name?" I asked her.

She blushed, smirking. "Sincere."

"Ohhhhhh," Me and Chandra cooed. Evette laughed rolling her eyes.

"Yall childish as fuck," She said, flipping through a magazine. "Uh, Kay, what's this?"

She pulled out the story on me and Trey and I sighed, shaking my head.

"Just an irrelevant ass nigga looking for attention," I said, continuing to scroll down my phone.

"You know Mama told me all about that," Chanda chimed in. "She believes that nigga too."

"I know, now she's not even talk to August because he defended me about this situation. But at this point I am so done with the drama. I can't be stressing while my baby is trying to develop," I said, rubbing my stomach. "I'm takin everything slow."

"That's what I'm saying but yall needa come with me tonight so we could all release some stress," Evette suggested.

"Where?" Chandra asked.

"Its male strip club called Sweat," She smirked. "There's some sexy chocolate and vanilla niggas walking around in nothing bow ties and briefs. I nearly died when I seen all those sexy muthafuckas, I swear."

Chandra started laughing.

"I'm in!" Chandra gave in, high fiving Evie.

"Y'all are crazy," I shook my head. "August will kill my soul."

"He ain't gotta know," Evie smiled. "Come on, Kay, you about to be s mama. Lets get crazy one last time."

"Yeah," Chandra agreed. "Take this while you can girl because trust me, it's ain't happening for a while."

I signed. "Alright let's go."
