Chapter 6

The next morning it was raining very hard so Lily got ready into a jumper and jeans with some trainers and went downstairs to get some coffee and breakfast while she was drinking her coffee she got a text of Riley asking if she wanted to come to her house but Lily replied that she wouldn't be able to come as she already said to Michael that she would help him with the shop so Riley replied that was fine and when she is done to come over so Lily replied that she will come over if her mother doesn't want her at home. So after she drank her coffee she got her shoes and coat on and started to make her way to the shop that Michael said to meet him there and when she got there Michael was already there and told Lily to follow him.

"Hey Lily." Michael said.

"Hey Michael how are you?" Lily asked him.

"I'm fine thanks." He replied.

"So what am I helping with here or did you just want to have a conversation with me." Lily questioned him.

"Ha no we are going to help my dad put things on shelfs and help him organise where things go and make an inventory of them." He replied to Lily whilst chuckling.

After they had finished the conversation they both made their way to the storage room and Lily hung up her coat and then they made their way to get some stuff to put on the shelfs while they were doing that Michael's father came up to them.

"Hey Michael who is this you have got with you?" His father asked him.

"Hey dad this is Lily she offered to help with the shop." Michael replied to his father.

"Hey Lily how are you?" His father asked her.

"Hey I am fine thank you." She replied to his father.

"So did he ask you to help or did you offer because I know he is too lazy to do this himself." His father asked her.

"Ha no I offered to help him yesterday and he said I could." She replied to his father.

"Well it was nice to meet you Lily but I have to go and meet a business partner now so bye." His father told Lily.

"It was nice meeting you too and bye hope to see you again." Lily replied to his father.

After his father had left Lily told Michael that she had to go back to Riley's house and said that she was sorry but she needed her. So after Lily had finished in the shop with Michael she got her coat back on from the storage room and put it on and said bye to Michael and made her way to Riley's house but on the way to Riley's house she seen Michael's father go into Julia's house so she decided to follow him and see what he was doing there so she made her ay to the window and after looking through the window she seen Julia's mum and Michael's father kissing and after seeing that she quickly turned around and made her way to Riley's house as quick as possible also on the way there she texted Riley asking if all the girls were there and if they were she needed to tell them all something and Riley replied that they were all there at her house waiting for her. So after about ten minutes of walking she got to Riley's house and Riley let her in and they made their way to Riley's bedroom to speak to all the rest of the girls.

"Hey girls." Lily said to all three girls.

"Hey Lily." They all replied.

"So as I made my way here I seen Michael's father go into Julia's house so I followed him and went to the window and seen him and Julia's mum kissing." Lily said to all three girls.

"How do you know it was Michael's father though Lily?" Rebecca asked her.

"It was his father because after about ten minutes of being in the shop his father came by and said hi but he had to go and meet someone." Lily replied to Rebecca.

"So they are having an affair so what?" Amy asked all three girls.

"Michael's mother and him don't know and that is not fair on them but the thing is do we tell Michael." Riley said to all three girls.

"What fi he doesn't believe us if we tell him." Amy asked.

So after the girls had finished the conversation about the affair and whether they should tell Michael about it they all decided to call it a night and all the girls made their own way home from Riley's house and when they got there they all went straight to sleep and agreed to meet up on Monday at the school gates as they spent Sundays with their families.
