Orbit's Birthday

Happy 29th Birthday, Octavia!

The date was July 26th, 2020. Octavia di Clour [Orbit] was busy singing her heart out. She's really good at singing opera. Suddenly, her computer beeped.

Orbit: Oh man! 

She went over to her computer and saw that Ciel wanted to talk to her.

Orbit: Okay, savior. I'll talk to you.

Octavia decided to accept the message.

Ciel: Hey, Octavia. I hope I wasn't interrupting anything.

Orbit: Hi, Ciel. Nah, you're fine. I was just singing some opera.

Ciel: Opera? Thisbe [Symphony Miku 2020] also sings opera.

Orbit: Yeah. She was inspired by me.

Ciel: How do you manage to hit all those notes?

Orbit: A lot of practice. And you have to have really good lungs.

Ciel: Oh.

Orbit: I've heard from...well...pretty much everywhere that you're the only Len module that can't sing. Is it because of your health problems?

Ciel: Yeah.

Orbit: When was the last time you ever sang something?

Ciel: I don't know. Probably when I did my specific song. And that was about a couple of years ago.

Orbit: I see.

Ciel: I'm more into playing the piano.

Orbit: Okay. I understand. Are you scared about people hearing your singing voice and judging badly of it?

Ciel: It's not that. It's just...I have a really soft voice.

Orbit: Oh, I think I get it.

Ciel: You do?

Orbit: Yeah. Your voice is really soft, even your singing voice. Whenever you try to sing something, probably no one will hear it. Did you ever sing in front of Angelica? Or Stephanie? Or Angelica's parents?

Ciel: No.

Orbit: Well, you need to try. I bet Angelica will like you more. Besides, she has a pretty good singing voice. And so does Stephanie.

Ciel: I'll try. Hey, have you heard about The Phantom of the Opera?

Orbit: I have.

Ciel: I bet you'll make a good character in that musical. Maybe the main girl, Christine Daaé.

Orbit: I've always wanted to be on Broadway. How do you know so much on The Phantom of the Opera?

Ciel: I've watched it one time on my computer in school.

Orbit: Oh. You're homeschooled, right?

Ciel: Yes. It was a good movie.

Orbit: I've seen it, too. Probably when I was your age. And I agree. It was a good movie. Maybe I'll have a chance of being on Broadway and performing in that musical. Are you and your family going to see me if I do make it?

Ciel: Of course.

Orbit: That's great.

Ciel: I better go. Hope you have a good birthday, Octavia.

Orbit: Thank you, Ciel. You stay safe.

Ciel: I will.

Ciel signed off from Zoom. And Octavia went back to what she was doing before.
