I am so sorry,
I am sorry for the kiss,
I am sorry for ruining our friendship,
For I cannot be your friend anymore,
It is too hard,
You need to keep making videos as will I,
But no longer together,
No longer as one,
I cannot stand your eyes,
Their soft bluish glow,
Illuminating all hope and wonder,
I cannot stand your smile,
Your teeth gleaming like stars,
I cannot stand knowing that you don't feel the same way,
When you pushed me away from the kiss my hope burned out like a candle losing its flame,
By the time you read this I will be gone,
And I want you to know,
I love you.
I read the letter that was sitting on my bedside table in horror.
"Dan..." I whisper under my breath, "Oh Dan, you never knew......I loved you more than you could ever know." A tear slipped from my eye, making a track down my cheek.
I pushed away from the kiss to talk, to talk about what we could become, but you walked away. You left. And you didn't come back.
I ran to my phone.
"Dan where are you?" I typed into the message.
"Dan you don't understand"
Five words lit up the screen of my phone, five unspeakable words: Dan has left the conversation.
I crumbled inside.
Dan you were my everything.
Dan, where did you go?
