Scotty's P.O.V
I got up really early this morning to make sure everything would be perfect for Summers gift. Around 6:30 I laid back down in bed "morning baby" I said lightly kissing her on the cheek. "Mmmm what time is it" she asked rubbing her eyes. "6:30" "why are you getting me up so early" she asked in that adorable sleepy voice of hers. "I don't know maybe because it's Christmas" she immediately sat up with a big smile on her face. "Merry Christmas baby"
Summer's P.O.V
I got out of the bed and grabbed a pair of purple nike pro shorts and a purple tank top. "You go get your parents and I'll get Ashley" "ok hurry" I walked down to Ashley's room. "ASHLEY WAKE UP" I yelled as flipped on her light. "Go away Summer its to early" "ya but its Christmas so get up" she jumped out of the bed and ran down the stairs. I walked into the kitchen and got a cup of coffee. Mike and Judy slowly waddled down the stairs "ugh I thought when you guys grew up we would actually get to sleep in on Christmas" mike said petting Becky. Everyone gathered around the tree Mike and Judy in the love seat and Scotty Ashley and I on the floor in front of the couch. Ashley jumped up and started passing out presents. "Summer you should open this one first" Ashley said handing me a box. I opened the box revealing a pair of boots I saw when shopping with Scotty. "Oh my gosh thank you so much Mike and Judy I love them" I got up and gave them both a big hug. "Your so welcome sweetheart" Judy said sitting back down "here this is for you mike and Ashley from me and Scotty" I handed her a small wrapped box. She started to open it once they got the tape off the box Scotty was standing behind me with his arms wrapped around my waist and resting his chin on my shoulder. Judy got the box open and held up a little picture frame with a picture of the sonogram from our last appointment with the OBGYN. On the each side of the frame was a small engraving: Brantley Tyler McCreery and Dakota Taylor McCreery. Judys eyes started to tear up as she stood in shock "are you serious?" she asked handing Mike the frame "yes ma'am" she came up and gave me and Scotty a big hug. "Ya'll are having a boy and Girl" Ashley squeaked from across the room before attacking us all in a big hug. "Yay im gonna get to spoil the both of them even more now" she said jumping uo and down. Everyone started laughing at Ashley. We Sat back down and continued opening gifts. I got Scotty some new shorts a NC State hoodie and a Bo's gift card. Scotty and I gave Ashley a new monogramed bag and hoodie. Mike got a new NC State chair and Jacket and Judy got a little grill thing and some perfume. "Umm Summer I accidentally left your present on the bed upstairs" Scotty said turning red. "Ok ill go get it" I walked to the bedroombut only found an envelope with my name on the front. I sat down on the bed took out the letter and started to read the letter. "Summer I didn't really leave your present up here I just needed to distract you for a minute so I could set up for your real present. Go see mom for the first clue. I love you so much, Scotty"
I walked down the stairs back to the living room with the letter in my hand. Everyone was in the same place except for Scotty he was gone "so where did Scotty go" "ummm I'm not sure but he told me to give you this" Judy handed me another envelope "hey baby girl go to the place where we first said I love you " I looked a round for a moment before walking to the door slipping a pair of flip flops on and running across the street to my house. I went straight to my room to find another envelope "Hey again, your really fast you know it almost didn't get out in time. Now that your here go back to the place we meet after the airport. Love you baby girl." I ran back to the McCreery's to get Scotty's truck keys. When I walked in everyone was gone. "Hello... anyone home" but no one answered. I went to the kitchen grabbed the keys off the hook and noticed Mike's keys were gone. "Humm wonder where they went" I grabbed the keys and went to the garage. I opened the garage door started the truck and backed out. I turned on the radio when a voice came on. "Hey baby girl your almost to your present hope your having fun love you." once he was done talking a soft song started to play. Only a few bars in a realized it was Scotty sing. The whole drive to Bo's he was singing I didnt reconize any of the songs but they were really good. I pulled into the Bojangles parking lot turned the truck of and went in side. "Hello Welcome to Bojangles. How can I help you to day" the lady behind the counter asked looking up from her phone. "Oh you must be Summer" "yep thats me" "Scotty said this was for you" she pulled out a a purple piece of paper. "Ok your almost there this is your last stop meet me at Blue Jeans stall I love you so much and can't wait to see you." I ran back to the truck and drove to the house. I walked to the barn. There were lights hanging from the beams flower pettales covering the barn floor. "Scotty?!" I walked to Blue Jeans stall. Scotyy was standing there in a suit and a big smile across his face. "Hey baby long time no see" "whats going on" I asked walking into the stall and wrapped my arms around his neck. "Well I just want to give you the best Christmas you could possibly have" "awe this has already been the best Christmas ever" he grabbed my hand and led me to the front of the barn. "Summer Hope Rivers I know we've only known each other for a few months but I love you more than anything in the world, and here in the next few months our lives are going to do a complete 360. But I want to experience it with you for the rest of my life. Would you make me the happiest guy in the world and marry me?" he askes whil getting on one knee. My hands went straight to my mouth as tears filled my eyes. "Of course I will" he stood up lifting me off my feet in a hug while he softly kissed me. He set me down without breaking the kiss. "Ahhhhh" we pulled apart I looked up to see Mike, Judy, and Ashley standing in the entry way of the barn. I ran over to them wrapping them in a big hug. "How long have yall known about this" I asked pulling out of the hug. " oh you know a few weeks" Ashley said with a big smile. "So Summer you ready for your actual present" Scotty asked puling me away from evryone. "Wasn't that my present?" I ased giving him a crazy look. "Nope. That is" He said pointing to a truck pulling into drive way. Will hopped out of the cab. " Merry Christmas" he walked up hugging everyone. " here you go Summer." he said handing me the keys. " seriously Scotty" "yep only the best for my Baby no go check it out." I ran to the truck opened the door. Its a 2012 Ford King Ranch F350. The accents of the truck are camo with camo rims. The inside was mostly camo. "Scotty I love it thank you." "come lets take it for a test drive" we got in and headed down the road. "Scott why did you get me a truck I really didnt need it" "I know but I wanted you to have one" I pulled into an empty field. We got out Scotty jumped into the bed of the truck then helped me up. "I love you so much and I cant wait for you to be Mrs. Mccreery" "I cant wait either" We layed in the bed for a while. Scotty started to softly sing one of the songs from the CD earlier. "I know I'm still young But, I know how I feel I might not have too much experience But, I know when love is real." "what are you singing ive never heard it before" I asked picking up my head off his chest.
"A song I wrote after meeting you"
"awe really?"
"yep"
"Scotty?"
"Summer?"
"Are you really hapy about the babies?"
"Of course I am why?"
"Did you only ask me to marry you because of them?"
"No! What kind of question is that?"
"I dont know. No one's actually loved me before and to have some one want to marry me is really shocking to me. I thought I would wind up being that crazy lonely old women with a bunch of horses."
"Summer I love you and the babies more than you could ever imagine. Would I have preferred they come later in our relationship of course, but I'm glad that they are coming now and I would never want to change that."

I guess we fell asleep for a few hours becuase when I woke up it was already dark and starting to get cold out side. I pulled a blanket over us and went back to sleep. I guess you could say its been a pretty amazing Christmas.
