Arriving And The Sorting

(Hogwarts, Station).

Hagrid: (holding a lantern and walking along the length of the train) Come on first, years, it's the only time.

(All of them disembark from the train).

Hagrid: Come on, this way to the boats, follow me (he walks off with the students close behind).

(All the students row across the dark river and arrive at the school gates and are met by Minerva Mcgonallgal).

Minerva: Welcome to Hogwarts, now in a few moments you will pass through these doors and join your classmates, but before you do, you must be sorted into your houses. They are Griffinydor, HufflePuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin. Your house mates will be like family,(Trevor hops in front of Minerva) your success will earn you house points, however any rule breaking and you will lose points, at the end of the year, the house with the most points is awarded the house cup (she is cut off my Neville).
Neville: TREVOR.
Minerva: (pauses then continues) The sorting ceremony will begin momentarily (she walks in, followed by the first years).

(Hogwarts, Great Hall)
Minerva: will you wait along her please (she stops just in front of the stage where Dumbledore and the teachers are stood) before we begin professor Dumbledore would like to say a few words (she walks off and Albus stands up).
Albus: I have a few start of term notices that I need to announce, The dark(enchanted) forest is off limits to all students, that the 3rd row corridor on the right hand side is out of bounds, to everyone who does not wish to die a painful death. Thank you.
Minerva: (pulls out a list) when I call your name, you will put the sorting hat on your head and it will sort you into your houses. Hermione Granger.
Hermione: (nervous look) (she walks up and Minerva places the hat on her head and it places her in Griffnydor.
Minerva: Draconia Malfoy.
Draconia: (walks up and puts the hat on and as soon as it touched her head it put her in Syltherin.
Minerva: Susan Bones.
Susan: (steps forward and is placed in HufflePuff.
Minerva: Rina Weasley.
Rina: (Nervous look) (she steps up and puts the hat on and after a few minutes she is placed in Griffnydor.
Minerva: (shocked look) Jack Mancer.

(The hall goes completely quiet).
Jack: Uh, (he walks forward earning the eye of all the staff, especially Dumbledore and puts the hat on his head after a minute the hat puts him in)
The Sorting Hat: RAVENCLAW.

(The Ravenclaw common room and the other houses clap and stand up with applause while Draconia looks at him with small hearts in her eyes).

Minerva: Harriet Potter.
Harriet: (walks up and puts the hat on and after a few minutes the hat puts her in Griffnydor).

(They clap and welcome her while she looks back at Jack who is talking with a few other people from Ravenclaw).

Minerva: Now with you all sorted will the prefects take your members to the common room.

(Percy stands up and takes the students to their dorms).

(Ravenclaw common room)
Jack: Ha, finally peace at last (he removes his band and puts his wand and clothes away and changes into his sleepwear).

(He feels someone tap his shoulder he turns around to see (Made up character) (Max Samson) to give him people to do stuff with when he's not with Draconia or Golden Trio).

Max Samson: Hey your that Mancer aren't you.
Jack: (laughs lowly) Yeah.
Max Samson: (shakes his hand) I'm Max, Max Samson.
Jack: Ah, nice to meet you Max.
Max: Thanks, hey a question (his expression changes to a more serious one) what do you think of Muggle and Half Bloods.
Jack: (sighs) I treat them as if they were people, I'm not a purist by the way.
Max: Oh thanks, I was just asking because I'm a Half blood and I thought you would bully me for it.
Jack: (puts a hand on his shoulder) I believe that all witches and wizards can be become great if they try, just don't give up and ignore the purists, they don't matter, what matters is your potential and what you want to do with it.
Max: Thank you, your very kind.
Jack: Thanks.

(Jack climbs into his bed and falls asleep).
