Chapter 11

"Not again!" Mikhail shouted. WAAA.... I hate lectures! As Mikhail was lecturing Ivan and I couldn't stop thinking about what happened again. Wait did Mikhail just say not again? So I guess he also lectured us when we first went out.

As I go back to my room before I catch a cold I take a nap again. I have a dream about Ivan and I going out like we did today, but there was a few differences. Ivan seems kind of different...

Is this what I forgot? The most important life changing event that happened to me? Yet I act like it wasn't a big deal, but it is what else did I miss?

*Spy's POV*

Why does Jen have to be with Ivan. Stupid party, made me miss the marriage selection for Prince Ivan! It's already too late to complain about it. Now who am I going to fall for next? I mean Ivan was my first love and last love.

I may be stupid for thinking he would ever fall for me, I just thought if I kept on loving him one day he would love me back. But I will be there at his saddest time, when the time comes I may say. Ivan might only think of me as a friend, but soon I hope he sees me as a love candidate.

"It's my fate!"

"Please young mistress go to sleep. You're too loud at this time of night."

"Fine..." I then lay back in bed and turn to the window. I have it all, but the only thing I really want is to be loved by Prince Ivan....

*Jen's POV*

One week later.... Ivan and I haven't really spent anytime together since he was busy with his royal duties. As for me I was making pastries in the kitchen as usual, today I was making hvorost! I hope Ivan likes it, I spent all morning making them just for him.

Why do I feel so happy about giving them to Prince Ivan? Like I'm waiting for his opinion on it, nah it's just normal. As I happily wrap them in a box, I head to Ivan's study.

Ivan's door was open a bit, and I walked closer to the until I heard another voice.

"So you came here to apologize on Emil's behalf Kyuba?" Ivan asked. Kyuba? What is she doing here?!

"Yes. I'm sorry about what Emil said about Jen he only likes her as a sister."

"It's a relief that he only likes Jen as a sister figure." Ivan sighed. Kyuba took out a box from her back then handed it to Ivan.

"Here, I made your old favorite cookies." Kyuba smiled. Ivan gladly takes the box from her hands, as if they were child hood friends. Your old favorite? Is she one of his childhood friends?

"Come on Kyuba, I'm not a kid anymore."

"Let me guess, you still dip your cookies in milk?"

"What? Why would I do something so unmannered and childish." Ivan's face then turned red and Kyuba started laughing. Those two seem to get along good, they would make a good couple.

I shouldn't have come here... Jen walks back to her room sadly while Ivan and Kyuba chat.

*Kyuba's POV*
It's been a long time since I really talked to Ivan, he seems kind of different. Like something in him changed maybe Jen did that?

That's good for him, she's a nice person. Maybe I should apologize to her after this? Will she forgive me?

*Jen's POV*

Why does my chest hurt so much? I plop down on my bed. What is this weird feeling? It's not same feeling I had with Ivan, but one with Kyuba and Ivan together. Why do I feel upset too? Could I be... Jealous of Kyuba?

Ugh... The green eyed monster got me! Why have I been feeling lonely for the last few days? All I do is make sweets or stay in my room and think.... This feeling his making me go crazy.

"Hi Jen!" Kyuba smiled. As she walked towards me, UH I thought she was mad at me. Then a sad expression crossed her face.

"Jen I just wanted to apologize for my behavior the last time I talked to you. I just snapped and didn't think will you forgive me?"

"It's okay, Anyways what are you doing here?" Jen asked. Kyuba stayed silent for a moment then spoke once more.

"I just came here to apologize on Emil's behalf."

"Anyways how is he doing?" Jen asked.

"He's fine..."

"That's a relief..." Jen sighed. She then turned her back and started walking to the kitchen. But before she can go, Someone had a pipe and whacked her across the head. This caused her to close her eyes and now, Danger awaits for her...
