Ch. 3

Angel, angel, what have I done?
I've faced the quakes, the wind, the fire
I've conquered country, crown, and throne
Why can't I cross this river?

Pay no mind to the battles you've won
It'll take a lot more than rage and muscle
Open your heart and hands, my son
Or you'll never make it over the river

It'll take a lot more than words and guns
A whole lot more than riches and muscle
The hands of the many must join as one
And together we'll cross the river

Taiyo woke up in the infirmary and looked around.

"Wh...where am I?" He said weakly.

"You're in the infirmary. Me and Lloyd brought you here after we found you." Chloe said.

"I'm just glad I'm back." Taiyo said.

"We all are." Lloyd put in.

"Hey buddy. I heard you came back." Kanata walked in with his fire team E601.

"Yeah, I heard I was back too. What a small world it is." Taiyo smiled.

"Hi Taiyo." A girl with red hair waved at him.

"Is that little Misora?" Taiyo looked at her.

"Yes it is." Misora said.

"Ahh I remember when you were a little girl. Me and Moto would go to your father's restaurant and get the best steak. Which reminds me Kanata, we need to grab Moto and head over when I get out of here." Taiyo relaxed.

"Hehe." Kanata sweat dropped. "About that, little Miss. Misora here accidentally destroyed it."

"HEY! It was an accident!" Misora said

"Chikushō. I liked that place." Taiyo rested his head.

The doors burst open as everyone looked to see who it was.

"TAIYO!!!" His little sister  ran in and jumped onto his bed and hugged him.

Moto was standing in the doorway as Taiyo's father walked in as well.

"Hey sis. Hi dad."

"Hello son. You've been gone for awhile." Taiyo's father said.

"Yes I have sir." Taiyo nodded.

"Don't do it again." Taiyo's dad smiled. "I'm just glad you're ok son."

"Me too dad, me too."

"Ok everyone. Stop crowding the forgotten sky wizard." Moto said as everyone left and he walked to Taiyo.

"Forgotten? Come on man. I ain't forgotten." Taiyo said sitting up.

"Almost whole city would beg to differ. Taiyo you've been gone for 6 years. People still remembered you but we all thought you were going to die down at Earth." Moto said.

"Another year or so would've done it." Taiyo said stretching his arm.

"The important thing now is that you're back. Oh and I got one more thing."

"What is it?" Taiyo looked at Moto.

Moto slapped Taiyo. "I told you I'd slap you if you lied.

The two of them chuckled. A nurse came in and told the two boys that Taiyo could get out of there. The two of them walked out and headed towards Gale Whitale's former restaurant.
