Girlfriend

Nothing new about first day of classes. Attendance is the most famous in school. There are some old students enrolled just today. Is it okay? Well, for them. Because they don't need to undergo interview anymore. They can freely enroll themselves when they wanted to.

First day of class but I don't have any thing I brought but only my small sling bag. What happened days ago made me so busy that didn't gave me a chance to buy some stuffs for school. It wasn't really a big deal actually, since it's just a first day. Kung puwede nga e, hindi nalang papasok but dad forced me.

I looked at my load slip and continued walking to find where my next class is.

Yes, I am quiet unfamiliar in every place of this school because this is just my third time.

My first was when my niece had her ballet session. It was held on Auditorium and it's just near on our Department anyway.

This is just my third time here. CBA Department is huge and I'm not expecting that I could easily find it since I'm not familiar with the room number that is written here.

This school is very famous, big, and have the most expensive tuition fee in Negros. Some students dreamed to study here. But for me, it's okay to study in a school that has a cheap tuition fee. Because you can learn everything as long as you strive hard. You can learn everything you wanted to if you'll study hard.

It doesn't matter on school, it matters on a student.

Nasa mamahaling eskuwelahan at prestigous school ka nga, pero bolakbol ka naman? Wala rin.

"Gruen," Someone whispered in my right ear.

Lumingon ako at nakita ko ang nakangising lalaking classmate ko kaninang first subject. Kumunot ang noo ko. Feeling close ata?

It happened that he became my seatmate earlier infront since naiilang pa akong pumunta sa likod or in the middle. Ayoko kasing may nakatingin sa 'kin dahil naiilang talaga ako.

He introduced himself as Nigel.
Maypa 'introduce yourself' pa kasi kami kanina na ikinagulat ko. Sabi kasi ng iba na wala na daw kapag college na. Pero ano 'yon? Napapailing ako.

I didn't mind his presence and continued walking.

"Oy, classmate pa rin tayo."

Napatingin ako sa kaniya at tinaasan siya ng kilay. Paano niya naman nalamang classmate pa rin kami? Tumaas rin ang kilay niya habang siya'y nakangisi. Ba't ba hindi mawala ang ngising 'yan? Nakakainis.

"Don't fool me." I said, leaving his mouth swung open.

Narinig ko naman ang mga yabag niya na tumakbo papalapit sa 'kin kaya binilis-bilisan ko ang paglalakad.

"Gruen!"

"Oy!"

"Sama naman nito oh."

Tumigil ako sa tapat ng classroom na hinahanap ko. Hindi ko parin pinansin ang lalaking talak ng talak.

Wala pa masyadong estudyante kaya nakapagpili pa ako ng lugar. Pumwesto ako sa may second row, sa may bintana.

"Sabi sa 'yo, e, classmate  parin tayo."

Napatingin ako sa gilid ko at andito na naman si Nigel. As in? Classmate talaga kami?

Inilahad ko sa kaniya ang kamay ko. Kumunot naman ang noo niya at ang kumag, hinawakan ang kamay ko! Kaya natampal ko ito.

"Load slip ang hiningi ko."

"Suplada naman nito…" nakangusong sabi niya.

Wala pa rin ako sa mood hanggang ngayon. Nakatarak pa rin sa 'kin ang nangyari.
