Chapter 21: I don't want to see your face again

Pounding footsteps made their way in a single direction, as if they owned the school so everyone cleared her path. "What the hell!?" a infuriated yell called to the group of friends, making direct eye contact with Adam. "You little shit! I thought you liked me! I thought I was genuinely falling for a great guy! But no! You're nothing what I thought you were!" Jennifer shouted into his face whilst holding back the tears which were visible, lying on her bottom eye lid. She starts to walk away so she can cry but Adam took a few paces towards her and grabbed her arm lightly. "Don't touch me!" she turned and screamed already releasing the tears. "Jenny, please, tell me what's up, what's happened?" Adam asked in a calm, soothing tone to try and calm her down but unfortunately this angered her even more. "What happened? What happened! You kissed Gracie! You kissed Gracie the day after you kissed me! I thought you liked me but you probably have a list of girls you want to get through and I was just the unlucky first one!" She yelled once more, retrieved her arm back quite vigorously, and stomped away. Adam stood there in shock, once he came back to his senses he tried running after her but a figure swiftly came from round a corner and punched his right in the nose. He stumbled backwards, and fell, with that, he felt a pain in his side. It was a foot being pounded against his ribs, kick after kick after kick. One kick came to his side, stronger than the others to finish him off. He felt his shirt being tugged on, bringing his chest up and forward, he felt a face come in front of his. He finally opened his eyes and saw Caitlyn right before him. "You disgust me, I don't want to see your face again, got it?" Caitlyn spat out to his face, Adam shook his head but stayed silent. She then dropped him and walked away, leaving Adam on the floor, he sat up to see everyone walking away with Caitlyn giving him dirty looks. Except Lee, Lee was the last one, he walked with them, he then turned round with a look of disappointment as he paused, but after a short period of time he just turned back round and carried on walking. 

I didn't even kiss her. She kissed me. Jen won't believe me though. I pushed away. How did she even know though? Was she in the halls? What if she was waiting for me and saw that? She would've saw me not kiss back? She would've saw me push Gracie off? She might've ran off before I pushed her? Wait, I saw Jack there with his camera, I'll ask him.
