Chapter 23: She Gets Caught!

As Caitlyn walked towards her group of friends, it was weird, people stared at her, pointed at her, whispered about her, no one moved out of the way of her, she just decided to brush it on and continue walking as if it's a normal day. When she got to them, they were all hugging Jenny, including Adam, Jenny was in the center holding one of the school papers. "Come on Jenny, you know those papers are all fake news, remember the story he made up about you? Take it from a girl with an anonymous Instagram account spilling everyones secrets," Caitlyn said to Jenny, chuckling to herself as she walked forwards. "This one is different Caitlyn, this headline is different to all of the rest of them because this one is true, this story is 100% real, and it's about you" Adam said with a tone of disgust in his voice. Caitlyn snatched the paper off of Jenny and started to read.

She Gets Caught! 

Caitlyn McNally, the leader of the school, has been knocked down from her social status. Caitlyn was found setting up a lie, partnered with Gracie Walker, to come between the relationship of Jennifer McNally and Adam Wood. She was caught though as not only did she take a photo but the writer of your school papers also snapped a shot and caught her. We managed to get an interview with Gracie and she confessed EVERYTHING! 

The Interview

Jack Campshire: Miss Walker, why did you get involved in this scheme against Adam and Jenny?

Gracie: Caitlyn paid me, plus I thought I might be able to get a date with Adam since I thought he was pretty cute.

Jack: Do you think you're going to get a date now?

Gracie: laughter   Not at all, I'm happy for Jenny and Adam though, they really deserve each other, I wish I could apologize  to them and make amends

Jack: Do you know why Caitlyn wanted to set Adam up?

Gracie: Indeed I do, she felt like her status was threatened by him since no one needed her to fight off anyone so she decided to get him kicked out the group and not be trusted again

Jack: Why are you telling us all of this?

Gracie: I've realized I did a horrible thing and want to make it right again, but can I ask you a question Jack?

Jack: By all means

Gracie: How did you find out?

Jack: Adam has some quite useful detective skills and got to the bottom of it all as he was obviously wrongly accused of playing with Jennys heart and feelings, now, last question, do you have any words you want to say to the audience?

Gracie: I do, Jenny and Adam, I am sorry and I hope you can forgive me

Caitlyn looked up from the paper to see an infuriated Jenny, she only saw a glimpse of her until she smacked her across the face. "Jenny? What the hell?! I have protected you for so long from creeps and fake news and now I have some fake news against me you just smack me and believe it?" Caitlyn said with rising anger. "No, I smack you because it's true you bitch! Gracie came up to us and told us the whole story and apologized! How could you?!" Jenny screamed right in her face as she smacked Caitlyn for a second time. This made Caitlyn snap. A fight broke out. Lee ran over to Caitlyn and tried pulling her off of Jenny but then Jenny would just continue to beat Caitlyn so Adam and Autumn got her under control.
