Shadows in the Forest (Haikyuu au)

Asahi POV

We ran into the forest as soon as we could, Noya taking the lead. 

"So, when we get there, what do we do?" Daichi yelled.

"We need to alert the chief and try to get everyone out!" Suga yelled back.

Thankfully we reached the village before Mr. Nekomata's team. We ran as fast as we could tot he chiefs cabin to explain the situation.

When we ran into the chief's cabin he was talking to his assistant. He then noticed we were there and gave us his full attention.

"Hello boys. What can I do for you?" He asked with a smile.

"The village is in danger. We need to get everyone out as soon as possible." Yamaguchi answered.

The chief's smile fell and he went into full business mode.

"Takeda, sound the alarm. You boys go tell everyone and get them out." 

"Yes sir." We all ran out and split up telling as many people as we could to get out.

At that moment the research team came out of the trees.

"Noya! They're here!" I yelled.

"Got it!" He ran up to the nearest man and yelled,

"ROLLING THUNDER!!" He rolled into the mans legs and knocked him over.

I turned back to help a lady get out of her cabin. I looked over to see that Suga had taken out a bow and arrows and started to shoot at people. He had pinned 4 researchers to trees.

5 down, 6 to go.

We had almost everyone out of the village. They were all supposed to meet on north side of the island and wait.

While, Noya and Suga were using strategy to take out people, Daichi and Tsukishima were using brute force. They both had a scary look in their eyes.

Yamaguchi ran over to me and said,

"Did you get everyone? I got everyone on the east and south side."

"Yes, I think everyone is out."

Then we heard a scream.

We turned around to see that the Chief was kneeling over something.

We walked over to see what it was and I gasped.

A dead assistant.

"They come in here and kill my Takeda without a second glance..."

He stood up silently got up and started to walk.

"Chief, please calm down. Please don't make any rash decisions." Yamaguchi said.

"NO!" He yelled, still crying.

He pulled something out and threw it at one of the researchers.

It was a knife.

It hit the man in the back of his neck, and he died instantly.

Noya ran up to me, leaves all in his hair.

"Did something happen? What happened?" He asked.

"Well, the chief's assistant was killed, so he killed someone else in return."

Noya froze.

"No no no no no." He chanted.

"Wait what's wrong?"

"This is how to original curse started. Hate, fighting and killing. We're in deep trouble." He ran to inform the others of what happened.

There was a bright flash, and a boom.

When our vision had finally cleared there was a bubble around me. I had a terrible headache and something was on top of me.

"Owww." It mumbled.

"Noya?" I asked.

"Asahi?" He responded.

"It's you!" He yelled. He leaned down and gave me a hug. I'm pretty sure he was crying.

"Wait, why are you on top of me?" I asked.

I looked around to see that we were trapped in this bubble thing together. I sat up as best I could to see that everyone was in a similar situation. Daichi was in a bubble with Suga and Tsukishima was in a bubble with Yamaguchi.

Then I heard a sweet melody and someone sing,

"You had forgiven them, but nothing changed. True love has saved you once again. Now stay with them, and love them. Because love, true love, is the greatest thing in the world."

The bubbles all popped and we fell to the forest floor. Yamaguchi was in Tsukishima's arms, and Suga was cuddling with Daichi.

Noya looked up at me and said,

"You know what, I think they're right. True love is truly the greatest thing."

He leaned forward and gave me a kiss. 

This was the best field trip ever.

OK so. I'm going to do a "bonus chapter" because I can.

I have deiced on what I want to do next. Will it suck, probably. Will I still publish it? Heck yes.
