Chapter 23: Always

(Name's) POV

Me and Jeonghan are taking a nightly stroll through the park to hang out before I go to America to settle in tomorrow and also to celebrate together our graduation, we already went and ate samgyup with soju with Jeonghan's parents. "Don't be a stranger when you go back here okay? Tell me the moment you are in Korea. I'll miss you." He said and I smiled and said, "I promise. Take care of Seungcheol for me and keep an eye out for Da-Eun. Soon enough Seungcheol will know about her true colors and he'll break down. I can't be there for him but you can. I still can't forget the help that he gave me on coming out of my shell." "Of course. I promise. (Name) nugu aegi?" He asked as he spread out his arms and I hugged him as I answered, "Jeonghan oppa aegi."

I got out of his embrace and decided to go home since it was getting late and I need all the rest I need for my flight to America.

"Bye Jeonghan! Bye Auntie! Bye Uncle!" I said bidding my goodbye's to the Yoon's and I went went inside the waiting room to board the plane as I listened to music.

Soon enough my flight number was called and I put my phone on silent mode as I went to check in my luggage.

As I passed through the gates I heard a my name being called.

"(NAME)!!!"

My eyes widened seeing it was Seungcheol.

His face looked desperate and before I could do anything I was being urged to go to the plane now.

I smiled at him as I left and waved goodbye.

'Goodbye, Seungcheol. I know this isn't the best parting but I hope the stars align for us to meet again if fate ever wills it.'
