Andy went to Miranda's not really knowing what is going to happen.
She just wanted not to fuck anything.
Some people can not undertsand her stress, but those who knew Miranda better it wasn't anything weird. Yeah, she is a Dragon Lady outside, but her daughters are everything for her and if anything bad will happen to them, she'll get fired faster than she can say "sorry". Well, losing work for Ice Queen shouldn't be something bad, because let's be honest, it's not easy, but Andrea is the one who knows more about what Miranda feels and that makes her not wanting to leave. The truth is Priestly's not heartless. No one is. What she does and says just means that she needs help. It's the kind of S.O.S.
Sachs opened the door and saw someone who wasn't supposed to be there.
- Uhm, hi! - she said a bit nervous.
- Andrea.. I forgot to tell you. My.. meeting was canceled.
- Oh, okay..
- Thanks for coming though.
Andy was truly shocked. It was the second time Miranda Priestly said "Thank you" to her and as everyone knows, that's like a miracle.
- N..no problem. - she smiled.
The twins went to them.
- Mommy, mommy! Can Andy stay for a supper? - the girls said in the same time.
- Uhm, yeah, if she wants to - Miranda looked at pretty brunette.
- Oh, I.. I think I can stay - she smiled nervously as she went inside.
- Great. Take a sit.
Sachs sat down and just tried not to look at anyone.
- Well - Miranda started - I bet you're nervous, Andrea.
- Nervous? Why you think so?
- Just look at yourself. You're totally nervous. I know that's kinda difficult situation, but come on, I'm not gonna kill you.
- You sure? - she laughed - Anyway..
I'm not stressed, that's okay.
- In that case, why are you looking down all the time?
- I.. uhm.. I..
- I'm not stupid. Anyway.. Thank you for joining us. The girls are really happy.
- That's not a problem.
- I thought you're busy with your.. fiancè.
- I actually broke up with him.
- Oh, that's pretty sad.
- He didn't accept my work and he din't support me with my plans, so I think it was a great choice. Anyway - she said as she ended eating - I think I should go.
- Okay, so goodbye, Andrea.
- Bye - she smiled a bit and went out not really getting what happened tonight.
"Calm down, Andy.." she repeated as she headed to her house.
Something changed that night. Maybe that's about Miranda's honesty and the thing that Sachs realized how she cares about miss Priestly.
