"Elizabeth, We cannot have Icecream for dinner" my father stated, My younger sister groaning upon my fathers Response.

"But Dadddyyy!!!" She complained.

I reached an open hand for the crisp box of Fredbears Home made Pizza. It was the same kind as the Diner, But the recipe, originated from my grandmother, was memorized by my mother. I placed the Pizza onto my plate, as I didnt want to eat it right away. Suddenly, There was a knock on the front door, My father, who's already eaten afew bites, Looked at me.

"Mike, get the door" he told me. I simply groaned and stood up from my seat and walked to the front door. Swiftly opening it, Beside the door was a grandfather clock, and a small end table. The boy behind the door, was my childhood friend. Judas Miller. He had black, Messy hair and
chestnut hair. He also wore a black, yellow secondary colored jacket with a hood that he hardly zipped up. A KISS shirt on underneath, constantly showing. Hes around my age, 12 to be exact, his birthday is before mine. My friend smiled at me, taking off his headphones, that I assumed where Plugged into his CD player.

"Heya Mike!" He practically beamed, his braces showing. My unhappy expression from earlier fading out of existence.

"Hey Jude!" I was already smiling giddily, somehow, he always brought me happiness. I always admired him for that. That's why he was my friend.

"So are you busy right now? I wanted to see if you could go to the library with me." He asked, just to get caught off by my father.

"No. Michael was just going to eat the food his mother worked hard to prepare" He said sternly. My smile fading, Jude noticing my fathers input ruining the mood for me yet again, Putting a hand on my shoulder, as my fist grew tense. I guess he wasn't the only one who noticed. My mother stood up, Placing a hand on the table.

"Have fun Michael, be back by curfew, okay dear? I'll save your food for another time, and if your staying the night call us okay dear?" She smiled kindly, Judes smile coming back, me looking at my mother gratefully.

"I will mom, Thanks." I smiled at Jude.

"Dont forget your jacket though Michael." She said. "Its cold out around this time"

It was around 5:30p.m., I guess thatd make sense. I grabbed my gray hoodie from the rack beside the door and slipped my shoes on.

"Stay safe boys" she told us. Me and my friend leaving the house as Elizabeth warned to shut the door before flies get in the house. We did, and we did quickly, its fall. The evening sky speckled with few clouds, and the sunsets colors matching the leaves on nature's floor. Him and I walked down to the lake. It was on it's way to the library, both of us hardly said a word, Jude mentioning stuff and me answering afew times. We finally stopped at the library side of the lake, A cement boundary between the parking lot and the park and lake below. We both sat on it side by side, watching the sun sink down into the horizon. I watched it carefully, as I felt Jude looking at my solemn sky blue eyes. A deep silence forming between my friend and I. I could hear children below the boundary playing on the swings together and with their parents, It kinda reminded me of what I wish I had at home. Then their was a small scream, Jude and I looked down to the playground, a boy around our age was down there. He fell and nobody was going to help him. We both rushed down to go help. Judas making it to the black haired boy first, helping the scraped boy onto his feet. He was crying as well.

"Are you okay?" I asked, helping Jude now with holding him on his feet. The boy shook us off however, as if he didnt want our help.

"I didnt want your help!" He grunted, Rubbing his teared up Crystal blue eyes. His skin pale and bruised.

"Well it doesnt look like your parents are here to help you!" Jude protested.

"I came here on my own. I dont need my parents to help me. I dont need help at all!" The boy protested in return, him turning to the kid who I noticed had just came down the fire pole on the playground set. "If it wasnt for that brat I wouldnt have fallen!!"

The kid he was referring to was around 3 years old, while he looked to be around 10 himself. Jude and I looked at him confused.

"What's your name anyway? And why did you come here alone?" Jude asked.

"My name is Caleb Jameson, and the reason I came here is none of your business" he told us, Me recognizing his name from school.

"Well, Caleb, we wont push you to tell us why your here, but atleast let us help you now." Jude said, gesturing at the open scrape that was currently Bleeding from impact, he was wearing Shorts, yes.

"Fine.." Caleb didnt protest, guess he found out Judes not the kind who'll let you go un helped, and he wont, "can you walk on your own?"

Of course, Caleb tried, limping, about to fall again, in witch Jude and I caught him, each of us putting a hand on each of his sides.

"DUDE Dont fall and make it worse on yourself!!" I snapped. Caleb growled.

Together, Jude and I made our way to the library, in Hope's someone had a first aid kit.
