As Wolf and Benson wandered around, they noticed a lack of mutes, any kind of mutes.
They thought this was highly concerning and odd, so the two walked back to the temporary camp.
Wolf immediately saw Lio rushing over towards them, with a very worried and scared look.
"What's the matter?" Benson asked, his face showed concern. Lio took a moment to catch his breath, "I know what's happening to them. Somehow, the antidote to get rid of mutes is active. It's getting rid of Kipo and Dave! It's killing them." He explained in a rush.
"Do you have any idea about how it happened?" He managed to breathe out. Wolf and Benson looked at each other.
"Dave. While we were running out of Dr. Emilia's old place, he tripped and it spilled everywhere." Wolf said, look of pure irritation on her face.
"That must be it!" Lio replied.
"Wait, did you say it's killing them?" Benson screeched, his eyes full of panic for his mute and half mute friends.
"Didn't you hear him? Or are you deaf? Yes, it's killing them!" Wolf shouted at Benson, angry with him for not listening.
"I don't know how it's affecting them.." Lio sighed, rubbing his temples. "But I do know that they only have a week left."
