Chapter 5: The Forgotten Sword

Gamagori's pov

"A-Are you sure I can stay here?" I asked, the brown haired girl.

"Of course you can, Gamagori-Sempai!" Mako yelled.

I blushed slightly. I looked away.

"F-Fine.....I'll tell Lady Satsuki I'm not going to the island."

"I'll tell her."

I turned around and saw Hoka. He was holding his computer.

"What are you doing here, Hoka?" I asked.

"Ah! Inumuta-Sempai!" Mako yelled.

"Saying goodbye," He said, ignoring Mako.

"Really?" I asked, not convinced.

"I knew you would stay at.......Her house for the next month, so I wanted to say goodbye before I leave."

"What's the real reason?" I asked, narrowing my eyes.

He sighed in defeat.

"I need you to give this sword to, Sanageyama," He answered, pulling out a bamboo sword.

"Why do I need to? Aren't you going wiht him?"

"We're not the.....Best of friends right now," I answered him.

I blinked.

"Why?"

Hoka turned his back to me.

"It's hard to explain.......Just make sure he gets that bamboo sword," He answered.

I nodded.

"You can count on me!"

~1 Hour later~

I sat around a table, eating dinner.

"Ryuko-Chan's surpose to come soon, Gamagori-Sempai!" Mako yelled.

I nodded, and stuffed my mouth with another piece of fish ......Well I think it's fish.

"I'm home!"

I heard the door open and slam. I looked behind me, and saw Ryuko standingin the door way staring at me.

"Why is he here?"

"Lady Satsuki, let me off a month for......'Vacation'," I answered her.

"Fine. As long as you promise not to kill anyone!" She yelled.

"I promise!"

She suddenly looked to the side.

"What's this?"

She reached down and pulled something up. My eyes winded and I stood up, hitting my head in the process.

"SANAGEYAMA'S BAMBOO SWORD!!!!"

Ryuko looked at me like I was crazy.

"Why is his sword here?"

"I was suppose to give it to him, before he left and-

"You forgot to give it to him."

She placed the sword onto her shoulder and turned around. She grabbed a helmet.

"Ryuko-Chan! Where are you going?!" Mako yelled.

She looked over her shoulder, to look at Mako.

"I'm going to return the sword to, Sanageyama."
