You And Me

Chapter one

2 years ago:

"Have you ever been in love?" asked Luna from her bed beside mine.

I shifted my pink comforter and turned to face her, 'No I haven't" i mumbled still exhausted from practice.  "Have you?"

Luna giggled as she said "I have" I couldn't help but be surprised, in the year that I've known her she never mentioned falling in love or even being in a relationship. Being a trainee is so intense I couldn't help but wonder where she found the time to fall in love. 

"So who's the lucky I guy" I teased

"It's a secret" she said, 

" no fair, at least tell me his name" I grumbled 

But before I could continue my interrogation I heard snores coming from her bed. Sighing i I turned back around to go to sleep my mind now wide awake.

Present day:

"Y/N wake up!"

I groggily raised up head to see my manager rushing around the room I shared with Luna. Slowly hauling my self up I looked at the alarm clock beside my bed to see it was only 5 am. I began my walk over to the dorm washroom as my manager, Mia began shaking Luna awake. 

Within 15 minutes all members were gathered outside of the dorm, the three older members got into one SUV while me and Luna got into another along with our manager. As the two youngest members we often spent a lot of time together, so it was good thing we got along so well. Mia began began describing our schedule for the day as I fought to not fall asleep. As a rookie group we had a lot of schedules, debuting from a big entertainment company helped get us a lot of exposure but to win the hearts of the public we would have to work hard. As the maknae and main dancer of the group I tried to portray a youthful yet determined image to the public.

I glanced over to see if Luna was as bored as I was but she had her eyes glued to her phone. As I was about to ask what she was looking at Mia exclaimed that we had arrived at the parlor to got our hair and makeup done. The next few hours flew by with excessive hair spray and music, I sat with the leader of our group,Mina to eat breakfast since we were both on diets and were eating the same kinds of food.I didn't understand why she had to diet as she had perfect curves and a high metabolism,with her smooth pale skin and large eyes she could easily be the visual of the group but that position belonged to Lili. After everyone was done eating we began our tour of waiting rooms to greet all of our senior idols.

Despite having debuted 8 months ago greeting senior idols is still very exciting for me, it was like seeing the local news presenter at the grocery store. Not many groups were promoting now so we didn't have many waiting rooms to visit. One of the last waiting rooms we visited was EXO's waiting room. Naturally all 5 of us were nervous yet  filled to the brim to meet the group, I had many albums of theirs back at the dorm and couldn't wait to see them in person, however as we approached the door their manager informed us we weren't allowed to go in. This sent Lili into a frenzy " I can't believe they sent us away what self righteous people" she grumbled.

Lili was always like this, complaining and angry over the smallest inconveniences. With her small face, tofu white skin and sharp ski slope nose no one could deny she didn't deserve the position of visual in her group but her vanity soured the beautiful image. She often discriminated against Choa and I as our height didn't match the rest of the groups. Besides that almost everyone agreed she seemed to have a personal vendetta against me but I could never guess why, it wasn't as if i got the most parts in our songs or had the biggest fan base. Over the past two I tried very hard to change her perception of me however I never succeeded  and instead learnt to live with her taunts and remarks.

That day I was having trouble performing and MY group had to re-do the performance several times. After the show I went to all the staff members and apologized for my lacking.i couldn't understand why i wasn't able to preform well, I was grateful it was prerecorded as I don't want to show my fans this kind of image when they support me so well. As we walked back to our dorms I apologized to my members and manager. All of my members comforted me and assured me that everyone had bad days and they knew that I am dedicated to the group, except Lili.

"Y/N, this was very disappointing. How does it reflect on the group if our main dancer is so lacking?" She smirked as she stood in front of me. Despite the fact she was shorter than me her intimidating nature made me shrink.

I couldn't help but think it would have been better if she had punched me, fighting to keep my tears in I bowed again and apologized before rushing out of the room. As I left I heard Mina chastising Lili. With my vision blurred by tears I made my way to a secluded stairway. Sitting down I couldn't help but wonder if Lili was right, that i was bringing down the reputation of my group.

I was so lost in thoughts I didn't notice the door open and someone enter.

"Are you okay?' A husky male voice asked.

I looked up ready to reply when I noticed I was looking at the face of the kpop legend Park Chanyeol.

*Authors note: it turned out to be super short but I didn't wanna fill it out with boring details, it was fun to write though!
