Project Vampyr

Third POV

Supergirl led Robin, Kid Flash and Aqualad into a large room. Once everyone was in him and Aqualad shit the door and Robin shut it down so they'd be safe for the moment at least. Kid sped around the walls looking for a switch. Robin however, typed in a few things on her wrist computer and the lights turned on. Kid stopped and looked up. A gasp escaped his lips. In the middle of the room was a pod with a very pale looking boy in it. His lips were chapped and he looked old(?). It was the only way to describe him.

"What is this?" Robin asked. "I don't know." The clone said. "I've never seen this before." Robin started looking something up. "Project Vampyr? Apparently he came out of a portal one day and just fell over. He was weak. They took him and put him here. Documents say that they've been trying to use telepathy to make him a a weapon, be he somehow holds them off." She said. "Why call him project vampire?" Willa asked. "Maybe it's because of these." Aqualad pointed you four tubes. Two on each side. On one end they were hooked into a canister of red liquid and on the other they were jammed into his arms.

"They're pumping him full of blood and sedatives." Robin realized. "Think you can get him out?" Robin raised an eyebrow, but nodded. "Uh, we sure letting a blood sucking demon out of its coffin is a good idea?" Kid Flash asked. "We can't leave him here. It's wrong." The pod opened and Supergirl got the boy out. "Hey, wake up." She said slapping him. "Woah! Gentle." Robin said. The vampire opened its eyes with a gasp and sat up. He looked around in panic.

"Where am I?" He asked. "Cadmus, but now it's time to go." Robin helped him up. "You remember your name?" She asked. "Micheal. Michael Corvinus." He replied. "Good. Now wee need to go." Robin reactivated the door and they all ran out, heading for the exit.

TimeSkip

"I choose freedom!" Supergirl exclaimed loudly. The tall, lanky G-gnome's horns glowed red and the little g-gnome on Guardians shoulder jumped off. Said hero grabbed his head and groaned. "Feels like fog.... lifting." He mumbled. Robin, Aqualad and Kid Flash stood up after being telepathically put to sleep. Michael just stood there. "Guardian?" Aqualad asked. "Go. I'll deal with Desmond." The helmet wearing hero said. "You won't be dealing with anyone." Said the scientist in question. He held up a small beaker of blue liquid. "Project Blockbuster will give me the power to restore order to Cadmus." He drank the serum and started transforming.

He ripped out of most of his clothes and even his skin, with only some still clinging to his face and he somehow kept his hair. Guardian tried to do something, but was back handed into a wall like the bitch he was. He roared and lunged at Supergirl who charged him. They clashed and Supergirl punched him in the face. Desmond grabbed her by her head and slammed her into the ground making Michael since.

"Hey, can you fight?" Robin asked. "If I have to." He replied. "Good. Show us what you got." Michael nodded. He charged the grey monster and tackled it off of the super clone. They rolled a few times before Mike managed to get on top and started beating Desmond's face in. Well, he would've if he was at full strength. Currently he was just annoying the thing, which's still pretty impressive. Finally having enough, Blockbuster knocked Michael away. Said vampire slammed into a wall with an audible crack.

"Agh. Being weak sucks." He groaned. "Hey! These g-nomes got blood?" Robin quickly looked it up. "Nope! Sorry!" Michael cursed. "How much do you need?" He thought about it. "Maybe a pint." Robin seemed to think for a second before taking her glove and presenting him her wrist. "Here. Just don't turn me ." He rolled his eyes and his fangs elongated. Once she saw them, Robin seriously started reconsidering her decision. Those things were huge. She thought vampires were supposed to be beautiful and soft. Nope, not this one. Before she could voice her concerns Michael sunk his teeth into her wrist and Robin was proven to be correct. That shit hurt!

Michael gulped down her blood, the sweet metallic taste nearly causing him to lose control. He managed to hold back however, fighting off his animalistic urges. After a few seconds he released her. She quickly pulled her arm away and checked the damage. Honestly it was pretty. She ripped off a part of his shirt and tied it tightly around the wound. He looked at his now ruined shirt and then up to the Bat's sidekick.

"What?" She asked. He simply shook his head and stood up. "That should hold me for a while. Now let's try this again." However, before he could Supergirl was throne through the ceiling. "Well, that's one way to go up." Robin said grabbing Kid Flash and grappling up. Aqualad jumped up and Michael used shadow swarm to fly up. He turned back into his human form and saw the super clone being thrown away. Michael's skin glowed a fiery orange before turning black. Once it had fully spread he had transformed into a hulking grey monster. His eyes black and yellow and his hair now orange.

Micheal charged Blockbuster and gave him a punch that dislocated his jaw. Blockbuster flew into a pillar. Supergirl looked up and nearly attacked Michael. The only thing that stopped her was him giving a toothy grin. She doesn't know why, but it soothed her. He helped her up and the two got ready to battle the charging Blockbuster. Meanwhile, Robin has called Kid Flash and Aqualad over so she could show them her plan. After they got it Kid ran over and started distracting Desmond and Robin then called the other two over.

"Let's di it." Micheal said. Supergirl and him proceeded to start destroying pillars while Willa kept running around Desmond. Once the trap was set they activated their plan.
