Chapter 24: her harsh reality

"You bitch!" Another swing was trying to reach Caitlyn but Adam and Autumn were still attempting to keep her away and calm her down. Lee had managed to maintain Caitlyn in a suitable stance and distance away from Jennifer. "I think you should leave Caitlyn, away from us, away from them," Lee said, kind of upset as he may lose his girlfriend, letting go but staying in front of her in case she tries charging to Jennifer again. Caitlyn broke free from Lees grasp violently and stares at Lee, hoping he didn't mean it. Tears started to form in her eyes, she swiftly turned away and power walked towards the school bathrooms. With a slam as the door was violently slammed against its hinges, she walked into the stall them slammed it closed again, locking it behind her. She instantly fell to the floor, head in hands, sobbing ever so much. Caitlyns hand slowly lowers, shaking quite vigorously, entering her pocket. Whilst she took her hand out of her pocket, she took a small shiny object out as well, a pencil sharpener blade. She gradually rolled her sleeve up, revealing her arms. Scars all over them, red and scabbed, some were made out to words and some were just straight lines. Some were obviously fresh and some were almost completely healed. She lowered the blade to her lower arm, letting the metal make contact with her skin. She put force, making the blade enter her flesh, then slowly dragging it across. 

The door opened once again after the bell went, notifying students to get to their lesson. Caitlyn slowly made her way to class, music which she unfortunately shared this class, with Autumn and Jennifer. She arrived late to class, opening the doors to a full class already, all eyes on her. She didn't care, she only cared about Jennifer and Autumn giving her looks like no other. If looks could kill, she would be six feet under. She just kept her head down and plugged her headphones in, listening to P!ATD quite loud, not loud enough to hear it outside of the earphones. The next thing she knows is her head starts spinning, her vision goes blurry, her hearing fades. All of a sudden, everything was black, pure black, and deadly silent.
