Being frozen because of Baekhyun's sudden movement, Chanyeol just stared at them, thoughts flowing into his mind.

They're together?

Chanyeol knows how whipped Veronica is for him, he does hope that the Princess will find someone more suited for her than him but he didn't expect it to be this soon.

Like maybe those scenes he saw from the dramas playing on that wide glowing screen from the apartment, where the people inside move and say things. He expected a talk with Veronica, a closure, then at that time Veronica will let go of him that a dramatic and hurt music will play in background.

But look at her now, making out with his best friend.

And Baekhyun didn't tell him anything.

Just watching, moving to a tree to hide, Chanyeol's eyes furrows when Veronica suddenly pushed Baekhyun forcely. "You got what you want now, go." She was into the kiss and now she shoved Baekhyun away?

Chanyeol clicked his tongue, he can't let Baekhyun see him there. If that will happen, he thinks scenes in the dramas where all the leads will have a confrontation and the two male leads will fight.

He cant fight Baekhyun.

Looking around, he found another route to take and it is a shortcut, he used his stealth skills to walk out of the two talking.

Going back to the two, Baekhyun still didn't finish, "When will I start?" He hissed, his shoulder hit a tree, massaging it.

"When Chanyeol wakes up at earth, for now you have to go to your house, he might be there waiting for you." Veronica fixes her dress, it's not like those princesses who have big petticoats that will make them look like an air balloon, it just a casual one nor those silly hairstyles or too much makeup.

Veronica has her own style of beauty too.

Her dress is only a simple one and her long dark hair is waving with the wind, her face doesn't need makeup to look beautiful, her tan skin makes her even more attractive.

After giving Veronica a goodbye, Baekhyun leaves the Castle Garden, walking back to his shared house with Chanyeol since the giant is like a baby who gets anxious when he doesn't see his mother.

Which is Baekhyun.

He arrives and his hand rests on the door. He is hesitating if he should really do what Veronica wants.

Should he really betray his best friend for love? But he said yes to the princess already. He agreed to team up with Junsoo who wants to abduct Gunlim so that if the man succeeds and Chanyeol fails, he has to go back to the exo planet and continue with his life.

This is because the princess heard that Chanyeol can only die if he will fall in love deeply to Gunlim.

Shrugging it off, he pushes the door open revealing Chanyeol walking around with water on his hand, his hair slicked back and sweat travelling down his neck "Why are you sweating?" Baekhyun asks.

"It's so hot here." Chanyeol replies.

But it's cold.

Not minding it, Baekhyun just let himself jump on the chair and maybe sleep, talking with Veronica made him feel exhausted, but he has to collect information, "So, how did it go?" he talked about Chanyeols another day with Gunlim.

"We went to the nursing house but we knew nothing about Gunlim's brother." He frowned, "And yeah, it suddenly rain and I fainted." He sighed, thinking about Gunlim struggling because of him.

Baekhyun remembers Chanyeol's sensitivity to rain, "And you let yourself get wet, you should've ran to a shelter or something."

The taller defended himself, "It was too late, the rain suddenly poured heavy drops, earth rain impacts me faster than the rain here, is there something with Earth's rain?" he asks.

"I don't know."Baekhyun hums to a random song playing on his head.

"And Gunlim fell sick because of the rain.”

A comfortable sigh comes out from Gunlim. Happy that the sting she felt on her head is finally gone.

Slowly opening her eyes, adjusting it to the light emitted from the sunlight thats casted out from her window, her sight landed upon a male thats sitting beside her bed and playing with the lamp on her nightstand.

She giggled at Chanyeol being in awe with lamp. He kept on pressing the switch and when it lights up, his eyes sparkle too.

Gunlim frowns after, is Chanyeol this poor and homeless that he doesnt even know what a lamp is?

'Hey. " Gunlims faint voice echoed around the four cornered room.

The boy who just about to turn the lamp again turns to where he heard the voice, Are you awake? Feeling good? he stares at nowhere.

Gunlim pinches his cheeks, Better. She replies, How long were you there?

I just arrived. Chanyeol lied. Hes here ever since he woke up, when his eyes first opened in his room, he thought of drifting back to sleep but thoughts of Baekhyun and the kiss the boy shared with the princess.

He was thinking, why did they do that? Baekhyun likes Veronica? I thought he was the one Veronica likes. How?

Why?

I feel so much better, the meds and Kyungsoos soup really helped me. She smiled, it was her first time to taste the boys cooking and he was really good.

A comfortable silence surrounded them, Chanyeol didnt even realize that he is already staring at the womans beautiful orbs.

Gunlim giggles again, which made him feel butterflies in his stomach.

Why are you staring at me like that? she asks, Is there something on my face? she snapped the boy out of his thoughts.

Oh, theres none.

The door opened and they both looked at it, waiting for the person who will get inside.

Its Sehun. Hi Gunlim, feeling okay?

Feeling best. She smiles, Why are you here? she asks in a kind tone.

Oh. Sehun shows the white envelope on his hand. Hyeon Ju gave this to me yesterday and she told me to give this to you asap. He hands it to her.

Opening the envelope carefully, Gunlin pulls out pieces of paper attached together by a paperclip. She takes one that appears to be a handwritten note from Hyeon Ju.

Unnie, the police officer sent me files, the results of him trying to find your brother, he found someone that matches your descriptions, he could be Hyungwon. The files contains his address, you could pay him a visit and Im really sorry for being unable to attend to you and help you, dad has been guarding me strictly.

Gunlim hurriedly opens the file attached that Hyeon Ju was talking about.

The paper revealed an address and vivid and blurry pictures of a tall guy, he appears to be working as waiter in an unfamiliar restaurant.

We have to go here. She points at the address, its where the restaurant is located.

Biting her lip, she just hopes that this wont flop, she hopes that when she will step inside the restaurant, shell meet a grown up version of her baby bro Hyungwon.

Even the name of the guy is Hyungwon, Chae Hyungwon.
