Kampton's p.o.v
I walked through the hall with my head down. My friends tried to talk to me but I was too depressed to even say a word. I saw Mackenzie by her locker as I passed by and I started to walk over to talk to her then I remembered that she hates me and I don't even understand why. I just stuck up for her and then she was just all mad at me because she can take care of it herself. When she turned around I pretended to be happy without her but inside I was dying.
Mackenzie's p.o.v
I turned around after visiting my locker only to see Kampton smiling and laughing and just being happy. He was obviously fine without me which was a problem because I was dying inside. I sighed quietly so he wouldn't hear me and headed for detention. My independent instincts took over me earlier and I shut him out yet another time. Why do I do that? I have no idea but what I do know is that I was lost without him but I was gonna have to get over it. He didn't want me anymore.
