A Paxley?? What if he was sent to bring her back to the palace?? Her father sure noticed her missing really fast.

Guinevere nervously laughed, hoping the young Paxley did not recognize her as the princess. 'Oh, hahaha... t..that's nice.. I'll be on my way now, goodbye!!' she immediately turned around to walk the other direction, but once again, Gusion appeared in front of her in less than a second and pinned her to a nearby tree, his hands on her arms, making her unable to escape his grasp.

'P..please don't send me back to the palace!!' Guinevere exclaimed, tears in her eyes. 'I don't want to marry a man I don't know! Please, I'm begging you!!' Gusion just looked at her, confused, as the princess struggled to break free from him, but he was too strong, so he didn't even budge from her movement.

'What? What palace? Why would you think I'm here to send you back if I don't even know you?' He asked, confusion written all over his face.

'Y..you're not part of them? So you're not here to capture me?' A ray of hope shimmered in her chest as she looked up at the young brunet, her eyes meeting his gleaming lavender ones. His messy, brown hair was reaching near his eyes, almost covering them, making him look really attractive to her, and his muscular arms were around her, his hand on her wrist. She realized how close their faces were and looked down, her cheeks flushing. Gusion let out a soft chuckle at Guinevere's flushing face.

'You're blushing, love' he smirked, only making Guinevere blush harder.

'Am not!' she immediately snapped back, still looking down. That only made Gusion let out another chuckle. He then stopped as Guinevere looked so mad.

'And yes, I don't know what you're talking about, but I can assure you I'm just a runaway man who happened to see this young lady in danger' He whispered into her ear in a husky voice. Guinevere was so relieved at the statement. The last thing she needed was a bunch of guards after her, to send her back to the palace and forcing her to marry Grayson. Ugh. She wanted to puke at the thought of marrying him. How disgusting.

'I didn't get you're name, by the way. Mind telling me?' Gusion smiled slightly. Guinevere then coughed and straighten out her dress.

'My name is Guinevere. Guinevere Baroque.' she said as she did a graceful curtsy.

Moments ago

Gusion wondered around the forest, looking for something edible around here. It was already dark, so it should be harder to find food. He sighed. As he was walking around, he saw an orange haired lady run past him, her long, orange locks fluttering behind her due to her movement of her running. He raised an eyebrow. She seemed like the fancy type of girl, due to her neat locks and royal looking dress. Could she be a princess? But why would a princess be out in the forest so late at night? It's dangerous for her. He felt concerned for the young princess for some reason, though he didn't know why, and decided to follow her, so she won't immediately be eaten by any of the lurking abyssal demons. He didn't think she would know how to defend herself, so he followed in the shadows her so he could help if anything like that happened.

After a few minutes, she girl stopped, panting and trying to catch her breath. Well, she sure wasn't made for long journeys Gusion thought to himself, while hiding behind tall bush. She then started walking around, aimlessly, making Gusion confused. She soon stopped in front of a tree. 'Don't tell me she's planning to sleep there, out in the open' he whispered to himself, rolling his eyes. He was about to walk back to where he stayed at when he heard a shriek from the direction of the girl. He immediately ran back towards her, only to see a demonic creature in from of her. He wondered why she wasn't running when he saw that she had a wound on her leg. The creature must have scratched her. Well, looks like he has to be the savior.

'Break the limits!' he exclaimed as he teleported between the creature and the princess. He then threw five daggers at the creature, and summoned them back, making the creature get stabbed by the five daggers.. twice

Gusion huffed as he ran his fingers through his hair. He turned to see the lady looking at him, tears in her eyes. So much for keeping a low profile. He then noticed her lovely features. Her hair was curled up neatly, and she had a fringe right above her eyes. They made eye contact for a few seconds, and he noticed how gorgeous her eyes look. The color of them were stunning. It was a deep shade of green, like the color of emeralds. He had to admit, she looked beautiful. Unlike many women who met. Not that they weren't pretty, but to him, they were nothing compared to this princess in front of him. She was probably the most beautiful lady he's ever seen. He noticed her looking back at him, looking amazed, and he couldn't help his lips from curving into a playful smirk.

'You done staring, love?'

Present

'Well, Guinevere, what is a lovely princess like you doing here, alone? At this time, especially' He asked her, curious. Guinevere looked down. How did he know she was a royal? Perhaps her gown made it seem so, since commoners don't usually wear this.

'I ran away.. I wasn't happy, so I ran away..' She muttered, almost to herself. But she was loud enough for Gusion to hear. He looked at her and smiled softy ta her. Well, that was one thing they had in common. They both ended up here by running away from their home.

'Well, I can relate. I ran away too' Guinevere raised an eyebrow at him. She was about to open her mouth to tell him that she should continue her journey, but he put his finger over her mouth.

'Okay, I don't know where you plan to go next, but I suggest you come with me to somewhere safe to spent the night, first of all.' He smiled and gave her his hand. She didn't know if she should go with him, since he's a guy, and she will be spending the night, alone, with a guy. Her parents have always warned her about this, and what guys could do to her. But, she won't be any safer on her own. Besides, she doesn't vent know her way around the forest! Looks like she didn't have a. choice. She then took his hand as he led her towards a wooden shelter.

'You found this??' She asked in amazement. Outside, there was a campfire, and a clean looking pond nearby. She went inside and saw some cushions, probably to sleep on, and a small table.

'I built it myself, love. Took some time though. I know it doesn't look so good but its better than nothing.' he told her, coming inside.

'How did you get the cushions?'

'oh. I uh went back to my old home and stole some.' Guinevere gave him a look.

'What? It's for survival. And sleeping somewhere more comfortable than the hard floor is nice.' He whined. Guinevere just rolled her eyes and laughed.

'Anyways, I don't want to sound like a busybody or anything, but I'm curious. Why did you run away from home?' Guinevere asked him with questioning eyes. Gusion looked down and his expression dropped. Wow, it must be a dark past he had Guinevere though to herself. He was about to start, but he heard Guinevere yawn beside him. He let out a chuckle.

'Go sleep, love. I'll explain tomorrow' He told her. Guinevere pouted her cheeks. That only made her look adorable to Gusion.

'I..Im not tired! You sleep-' She got cut off by Gusion lifting her up and carrying her to the cushions.

'Sleep' he told her her, smiling. Guinevere glared at him. As much as she wanted to stay awake, she couldn't deny that she was tired. The whole runaway and marriage thing sure was tiring for her. She slowly closed her eyes and laid down in the cushions.

'Guin-' Gusion stopped when he saw the sleeping princess beside him. He couldn't help but smile at the sight. She looked beautiful even when she was asleep. He quickly shook his head at the thought. No. Maybe he didn't like her, but he sure found her attractive. He sighed and brush the hair off his face.

'Night, love'
